[video] open (and closed)
[It hasn't been very long since his last attempt at communication, but this time he actually has something a little more worthwhile. A few questions, and the first one is perhaps an unusual one.
Lusiphur's location is unclear because the background of the video is mostly just darkness. He's wearing a black bandana on his head so that it covers his long elf ears. It's not an attempt to hide his identity other than he doesn't want to obscure any valid responses to his question.]
Do the words Elen sila lumenn' omentievlo mean anything to anyone who's listening?
[He met an Elf at the feast soon after his arrival who said he had family here. Time to seek them out... and hey, his pronunciation of the phrase is actually pretty good.]
[CLOSED to the Unseelie]
[this is one disgruntled elf when he'd bored]
Since I seem to be temporarily out of a job, I'm looking for one. Is there anything interesting out there that needs doing? No housework or manual labor. Killing things is a plus. No charity work. I left my resume back in Amyrahl'nn, so to save time just assume I can do whatever it is that needs doing.

[Side-eying you so hard]

[Side-eying you right back. Last dwarf he spent any amount of time with had been trying to kill him.]

I can't say for sure it was your son, but he mentioned having a brother here. He introduced himself as Maglor.
...it's called Quenya? Is that a type of Elvish?
Video
It is. And a very old one too. Few here speak it.
Video
Quenya sounds a lot like the language the old wizards use to write their books. The vocab is completely different but--
[he pauses because this is distracting him] Don't take this the wrong way, but you are way too hot for a mother.

[ The person on the other end of the video feed is beautiful and ageless, with long silver hair, and obviously an elf. ]

I don't think I'll ever understand the thing about stars... [mumbled]
I met an Elf at the welcome feast named Maglor.

...I've never heard of Middle Earth. Are you from there as well?

{He inclines his head, eyes soft.} I am. My name is Aragorn.

I don't know the language, but it was told to me by someone I met when I first got here. Pronunciation really isn't so difficult because it sounds a lot like my parents' native language [a small shudder] but they had no particular fondness for stars.
"Eldar" is a new word. Another name for Elves?
video
Not your own? [It's asked innocently enough, despite his shudder.]
It is though not commonly used.

Very quick, yes. I was putting the words out there to see who else had come from the dimension that language came from. I've never known that there were Elves other than the ones on Amrahly'nn.

I hope you brought coffee. :|
notadjusting since the feast?]It seems that way. I didn't realize when you said you had some family here that I'd also attract half the resident population of Middle-Earth. [And they're all being really nice. It's weird.]

[ amused ] Quenya is the language of lore, these days - you would attract many with that phrasing!
