[It hasn't been very long since his last attempt at communication, but this time he actually has something a little more worthwhile. A few questions, and the first one is perhaps an unusual one.

Since I seem to be temporarily out of a job, I'm looking for one. Is there anything interesting out there that needs doing? No housework or manual labor. Killing things is a plus. No charity work. I left my resume back in Amyrahl'nn, so to save time just assume I can do whatever it is that needs doing.

Some people do that to mourn the dead. I don't know. It seems like a pretty stupid custom to me.

...so some weird mangled Elvish, huh. Do you know any so you can tell me what it sounds like where you're from?

I do not, but it does sound vaguely familiar. Where did you hear it?

I met an Elf when I first got here who told me it was a greeting. I didn't know there were other types of Elves out there other than the pointy-eared assholes in Amrahly'nn. Some brain dead notion made me want to see who else knew about this world and these types of Elves.

And what did he look like? There are a lot of Elves here, you'll find, most of them from Middle-earth.

Did someone just rip a hole into your dimension and pluck a bunch of them out or something? "A lot" of Elves.... I just hope I don't run into anyone I know here. [like the Marauder. or that cop. or Hyena. He shudders at the thought.]

A tall, dark-haired Elf who looked like he glowed a little. But this place is weird and has way more incidental magic than I'm comfortable with, so I don't know if that last part actually happened.

No, they do at times glow though I am not entirely sure why. You may have spoken to Lord Maglor.

If the Elves glowed in my world, a whole lot of them would have to find a new line of work. No more sneaking around in the dark. What good is being light on your feet when you light up like a firefly? It makes it easy to get squashed, and that's bad for business. [Not only were Elves notorious trackers, but they were often thieves and assassins, too. Lusiphur would have been out of a job]

Most people do not notice the glowing. I'm not sure how it works.

I do not make a habit of trying to kill people who haven't tried to kill me. Too messy.
