[ She debated for a while whether it would be more prudent to put this to video or text, but ended up deciding on the former. Given the subject matter, it would make sense that she might need to be recognized. So here is a dark-haired young woman with a deep red cloak hanging at her shoulders, sitting by herself just outside of what is recognizably the main complex of the Station. The sun has been up for a little while, but the light peaking over the building and surrounding trees gives way to the early part of day. ]

Good morning. [ She smiles. ] My name is Asami Sato. I know there's a lot going on right now, to say the least, but I'm hoping that you can take a minute out of your day to listen to what I have to say.

[ She straightens, her shoulders leveling as her expression, though still warm, turns more serious. ]

We're all aware of how the Void is growing closer to the coasts, so I've recently taken up the task at trying to help those who may not have the resources to get out of harm's way in time. The edge of the Void is closing in on the lands of Leana and there are a number of villages that could be lost.

[ Anyone who has taken part or at least heard of Gilgamesh's attempt to save Leathann will be familiar with the situation. The Void is, of course, ever looming, and those at the coasts are just at the mouth. It doesn't seem a permanent solution to move anyone inland, but it seems worse to leave them to be gobbled up. ]

As honored as I am to take on this responsibility, I can't do this alone. I've been in the Drabwurld for a little over three months now, but there's still a lot to learn. If there's anyone out there who is familiar with the land on the southern end of the continent, I'd really like to meet or speak with you.

[ There's more, of course, because the sheer size of her intent covers multiple settlements. Asami exhales lightly through her nose, business face on. ]

I'll offer what I can in return for services or information. If anyone has the ability to lend themselves over to help escort civilians, recommendations or access to transportation of groups of people, or are willing to donate anything to the cause, I'll be in your debt.

[ She picks up a piece of parchment off to the side, the edge just barely caught by the live feed. ]

I'll be heading to the White Citadel in a day and then to Caer Glaem afterwards before turning towards Northern Leana. The end goal will be to start moving them north, hopefully eventually to Parrais. [ Asami sets the paper back down, turning her gaze back to the compass. She smiles again, looking a little hopeful. ] Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated. I know you'll be putting your faith into someone unknown, but I'd really like to help as many people as we can. This is their home, and sometimes losing that can make you feel like you've lost everything. Let's...make sure that doesn't happen.

I saw what was happening at the coasts when I went after the children. I must do some travelling myself and hunt for supplies, but I will help you as best I can.

The children? Do you mean for the orphanages?

[ She is aware of those, having helped Kirei out with their implementation a bit. ]

[ She smiles a little sadly at that, but nods. ]

I know that the end may be inevitable, but it still doesn't seem right to just let them be lost like this.

( Clarke never uses her Hermione-made compass for anything but contacting John, but this- hearing a familiar voice catches her attention, and the broadcast itself strikes something in her that she can't exactly ignore; her worry makes it impossible. )

Aren't you going against your courts aim? The Seelie are working to have everything consumed by the Void to be reborn into this same cycle of war again. ( and the real reason why she's saying this; ) Please be careful, Asami. We're not in a time where the monarchs are merciful anymore, and I don't anyone to be punished for trying to save people.

[ She is a little surprised to hear from Clarke, even though she'd made it a point to use her compass to encompass more people who might be able to help. After the security measures that Hermione added to her network, it felt safe enough to tap into. But still, she hasn't seen her since the incident with the banshee.

And she takes those words to heart. ]

I've been thinking about that for a while. [ Trying to find out where she fits in the grand scheme of things in the magical world--for however long it's going to last. ] I've met people in both courts, like you, who are good people and just want to do the right thing. I'm not sure exactly how we're placed where we are, but I've realized that it should be based on who we are, right?

[ There's a pause. ]

So...I'm doing what I think is right. Whatever that means to the rest of the world. I'm willing to accept whatever repercussions that brings, but I would never forgive myself if I just sat and did nothing.

[ it should probably be odd to see this on the seelie network of all places, but if anything asami's message and quest grows some faith for cloud in the people that are supposedly his allies. ]

Unknown or not, what you're attempting to do is something everyone should be. [ that's the plain truth of it, no matter how anyone might feel about the war, about the seelie and unseelie-- all should be focused on helping those falling into the maw of the void. ]

[ She had been wondering how it would reconcile with the Seelie end goals, but she's come to the conclusion that if she's considered Seelie and this is what she feels is right, then the monarchs placed her in this court for a reason. It's taken a while to get to this point, but feeling that she might be able to make a difference for someone? It's...nice.

What he says is surprising from a strange, but it speaks to her and makes her smile. ]

...That's very kind of you to say. I was hoping people might also feel that this goes beyond the war.

[ Because to her, it does--this is about people, people who may not be able to make the choices they should without the right resources. ]

[ when luke hears about travelling and help and lands, all he gets from this is adventure. he's growing restless; without another outpost to blow up, he wants to run and cause as much trouble as he can. george has been on his case about taking him all over the drabwurld, believing he's sensed a change in the force, luke skywalker when it comes to the rats, but luke hasn't wished to abandon the white citadel on a wild rat chase. ]

[ asami will see luke leaning against a tree with a blue snake coiled up on his shoulder. martha's been lulled to sleep by george's recounting of various rat adventures, and the rat snake ... luke doesn't know where in hades that guy is. ]

[ He's someone she doesn't recognize by appearance, but she definitely will by name. He paints an odd picture, to be certain, but Asami also knows that it's not worth to judge on appearances. She's the victim of that often herself and in the Drabwurld in particular, people surprise you every day. ]

Well...it's on the way south, but I'd been there recently and spent some time with Marquis Nico di Angelo. I was hoping I'd be able to meet with some of the guards there, too.

[ She isn't sure she's really seeing what she thinks she's seeing. Is that really her? After so long? ]

[ Her initial reaction is simple and complex at the same time--elation, at first, because she sees Korra there on her compass, undeniably Korra. It may have only been a few weeks, but she's right about one thing, it feels much longer than that. She'd been spending so much time on her own even before Korra and Mako left that Asami feels like it's been even longer than that. ]

[ But as she takes it all in, she knows something is very wrong. Korra looks tired, as she should be after doing...who knows what. She'd been so secretive about her departure that Asami hadn't been sure what to think. All she could do was put her faith in her friends and hope for their safe return. She sees Rizhao, but...where's Mako?

And why hasn't she said anything until now? ]

[ That face...she hasn't seen Korra look so listless since...since she was back home, when she'd left to go to the South Pole and recuperate.

[When Bobby appears, he's in his ice form, which is both unmistakable and transparent. From certain angles, Asami will be able to see through him. That he also has eyes and a tongue and stuff to talk is probably a little weird. Being a mutant is weird.]

Think an ice dude can help? I do lots of stuff with ... you guessed it ... ice!

[ She's been surprised by many people here, but seeing someone made of ice is really a first. Her shock is readily apparent, but she looks more curious than anything else.

He seems to be in good humor about his..state of being, at least. Her lips hang open for a moment before she lets out a light laugh. ]

I would've never guessed. [ She eases into a smile. ] It's nice to meet you, Bobby. I think an "ice dude" would definitely be able to help. What sort of "ice stuff" can you do?

I'm not familiar, but I know my way around coasts and waters. If there's anything in the water or in deeper that needs to be salvaged, I can help. That and, well, incredibly heavy lifting.

[ She knows not to underestimate such statements and he makes it feel as if it's fact. ]

I'd appreciate any and all help. I haven't been to the area before, but there are several villages that are on the coast. I know that there'll be people who will be losing their livelihood if fishing is involved at all. It might be difficult to adjust to something else.

[This Asami had a real knack for organization and all around ingenuity. Gilgamesh had gathered as much after her aid to the Citadel, and he smiles here, as he has not done in days; he looks on with pride even as exhaustion tugs at him, like a father observing a child he'd helped raise.]

You do well to assist your fellow man, Asami. I see you are fast finding your place within this world.

[ Gilgamesh, you are easily one of the most confusing people she's met here. She'd been so off put by him when they first met and further seeing how he acted around Korra that she'd nearly written him off, and yet he's also been the one to set her on a path that finally felt right.

She's still suspicious, but...more open-minded. And he does look tired--she's well aware of what he's dealing with. ]

...Thank you. I'm trying. [ Look at that, she'll even offer him a smile. ] I hope I'm able to help as much as I want to. How are things?

[Terra smiles slightly, even with the urgency of the situation. He hasn't seen her in a while, and it seems as though she's settled into something of a routine.]

Losing your home is something that nobody should go through. [It sounds like he speaks from experience, and to be honest that's why he's helping with Leathann, though he doesn't say that.] If there's any orphans I'll be glad to protect them while we find them shelter.

[ That's a face she hasn't seen in a while, but she's glad to again. He'd also been one of the first few that she knew in the Drabwurld, so that will always hold a place in her heart. ]

Terra! It's good to see you. [ Battle preparations and impending doom accounted for. ] No, it really shouldn't. At least with this they can at least have some choice of where and when that happens.

[ Because...the fact that The End is still on the horizon isn't lost on her, but she can't just sit there and do nothing. ]
