[ She debated for a while whether it would be more prudent to put this to video or text, but ended up deciding on the former. Given the subject matter, it would make sense that she might need to be recognized. So here is a dark-haired young woman with a deep red cloak hanging at her shoulders, sitting by herself just outside of what is recognizably the main complex of the Station. The sun has been up for a little while, but the light peaking over the building and surrounding trees gives way to the early part of day. ]
Good morning. [ She smiles. ] My name is Asami Sato. I know there's a lot going on right now, to say the least, but I'm hoping that you can take a minute out of your day to listen to what I have to say.
[ She straightens, her shoulders leveling as her expression, though still warm, turns more serious. ]
We're all aware of how the Void is growing closer to the coasts, so I've recently taken up the task at trying to help those who may not have the resources to get out of harm's way in time. The edge of the Void is closing in on the lands of Leana and there are a number of villages that could be lost.
[ Anyone who has taken part or at least heard of Gilgamesh's attempt to save Leathann will be familiar with the situation. The Void is, of course, ever looming, and those at the coasts are just at the mouth. It doesn't seem a permanent solution to move anyone inland, but it seems worse to leave them to be gobbled up. ]
As honored as I am to take on this responsibility, I can't do this alone. I've been in the Drabwurld for a little over three months now, but there's still a lot to learn. If there's anyone out there who is familiar with the land on the southern end of the continent, I'd really like to meet or speak with you.
[ There's more, of course, because the sheer size of her intent covers multiple settlements. Asami exhales lightly through her nose, business face on. ]
I'll offer what I can in return for services or information. If anyone has the ability to lend themselves over to help escort civilians, recommendations or access to transportation of groups of people, or are willing to donate anything to the cause, I'll be in your debt.
[ She picks up a piece of parchment off to the side, the edge just barely caught by the live feed. ]
I'll be heading to the White Citadel in a day and then to Caer Glaem afterwards before turning towards Northern Leana. The end goal will be to start moving them north, hopefully eventually to Parrais. [ Asami sets the paper back down, turning her gaze back to the compass. She smiles again, looking a little hopeful. ] Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated. I know you'll be putting your faith into someone unknown, but I'd really like to help as many people as we can. This is their home, and sometimes losing that can make you feel like you've lost everything. Let's...make sure that doesn't happen.

And she takes those words to heart. ]
I've been thinking about that for a while. [ Trying to find out where she fits in the grand scheme of things in the magical world--for however long it's going to last. ] I've met people in both courts, like you, who are good people and just want to do the right thing. I'm not sure exactly how we're placed where we are, but I've realized that it should be based on who we are, right?
[ There's a pause. ]
So...I'm doing what I think is right. Whatever that means to the rest of the world. I'm willing to accept whatever repercussions that brings, but I would never forgive myself if I just sat and did nothing.

I agree, it should be based on who we are. I think it is, a lot of the time.
( still- )
Well, if those repercussions ever come, at least you know you were doing that felt right by you. And I think that's the most important part of this.
I can't get involved directly, but I can redirect a few natives that work for me to help you, and they'll bring some funding with them. They'll stay and help you as long as you need them.

If that's what makes her Seelie, then she doesn't have any regrets. ]
Then this is who I am...and if I'm meant to be in this court, then my actions should show it. Right?
[ There's a smile behind her voice despite the gravity of the situation. There's a lot she's still worrying about, but right now? She feels like she has a purpose in all of this, and that's a nice change.
But, she's surprised and touched--not just by Clarke's concern for a person she's only met once, but her willingness to help. ]
You would do that? [ A light laugh follows, a thankful one. ] That...that really helps. Thank you so much!

( it isn't really something she had ever thought about, more believing that who they were at their core was what caused a monarch to claim them, but maybe it was about more than just that. )
I'm happy to help, if it means keeping people away from the Void for longer. Should I direct them to find you at Caer Glaem?

[ Maybe she's not too far off, maybe she actually has an idea of what she's doing. It makes her feel a lot more confident and more optimistic about the task before her. ]
Yes, that would be wonderful. Thank you, Clarke.

( she's joking, quite obviously; it's easier to bring some level of lightheartedness into this. )
Of course. A friend of mine has been working on evacuating Briste in the North; I know how much work it can be. ( a beat. ) Her name is Elizabeth. If you can find her on the compass network, she might be able to give you some advice since she's been working on it for a couple months now. ( the fact that Clarke specifies compass rather than locket should be the tip that Elizabeth is, like Clarke, an Unseelie. it leaves her enough awareness for if she wants to cross court lines again. )

Sometimes making a little trouble is a good thing, huh?
[ Things won't change otherwise. ]
Elizabeth? [ Asami gets the implications well enough, although if she's on the network, then she assumes she's trustworthy enough by Hermione's standards. That and Asami has been making a point not to judge based on court alliances when meeting people in neutral territory. ] I might do that. Thank you.

You're welcome. ( and with that, she reaches for the compass. ) Let my agents know if you need anything, they'll get word back to me; better than risking the compass. ( she doesn't exactly answer it unless it's John. ) Good luck, Asami.
( with that, the line is cut as Clarke closes the compass. )

I will and I really appreciate it.
[ The luck, she's sure she'll need, she just hopes she'll have enough of it. ]
