Things they don't tell you; participating in their little fun-time hunty quests could get you turned into a goddamn bat. These are things you might want to clarify beforehand.

If this is permanent, I swear to god I will shit in everything edible until it's fixed. This isn't exactly the way to get your 'subjects' to play nice. I would have happily ripped the damn thing's head off, but someone forgot to tell me to be careful that it would use some kind of deer magic to turn me into... this. Someone fix this.

Insects are hardly pests. Imps, fairies - those are pests. Although, they may have an idea on how to undo your misfortune.

Which would make them useful pests, something along the lines of a human.

On that we can agree. Humans have proven a certain tenacity, despite their many flaws.

It is harder to mistake you for a human when you are like this.

I'm touched. Really. But human-mistakable or not, I prefer my original form. There's too many things I'd miss out on doing like this.

In the future, avoid participating in anything the monarchs put forth as sport or necessity. The reward is never worth the trouble.

Time will tell. I do not know if bats have natural predators in this world, but I would advise caution when flying.

I plan on staying indoors until I can open them myself. Best to avoid tempting anyone with a grudge.
