She is sitting at her little table with a glass and a bottle of sparkling rainbow champagne open before her, cheek resting on a hand spread out on the tabletop. She watches the bubbles in the glass. Another fairy sits atop the bottle and seems to be asking her questions from a list on a piece of paper.]

How old are you?

Fifteen, silly. Sixteen in exactly two months.

Next...what color is your hair?

[Sigrid pulls out a loose curl and goes crosseyed looking at it.]

Never been able to say. Sort of brown, sort of yellow. More yellow. What color would you say it is?

Ah... [The fairy casts aside an entire sheet of the questionnaire and skips ahead.] What do you look for in a romantic partner?

I don't look for them. I mean I suppose if I did he'd be kind and hardworking and want a big family, but I'm not the sort of girl boys like that way, and I haven't the time for it.

Ai! Not true! What about Jon Snow?

Does he? Ohhhhhh... [Sigrid lifts her head slightly, squinting at something off-camera.] I think he's just that nice to everybody, Mee.

That's stupid.

Sort of. And it's also part of what makes him so good. Like Sansa, and Lancelot. So very good no matter how awful things are.

I'm not courting.  I don't even know what people do when they go courting.  I thought it was a lot of hanging out of windows and dropping notes and things.  Maybe kissing, if Da let me.  I've never been kissed.  I wonder how tongues get used when people kiss.  I've only heard there are tongues and it sounds horrible.  Like when Tilda used to lick me to get me to stop holding her still.  Then it's supposed to get even worse, or so Amma said.  She said it hurts every time and there's no doing anything about it.  I wonder who thought of that first, say, 'let me put this in there and see what happens?'

[ She'll probably pass out within minutes of trying it but, hey, tough love. That's the plan if you want to get wasted, kids. It's for the best instead of letting Sigrid embarrass herself and a bunch of young men in the mix too. Knock her out cold with alcohol so she never, ever drinks this much again.

[ though he's trying to sort out the best way to suggest she have a long talk with a married woman. ]

[It's a redheaded elf. It's like Celegorm's family is all showing up to torment her. That's going to be what she dreams about tonight, isn't it? Being put on trial for his death. That will be awesome.]

That's...good. That someone thinks so. The Elvenking talked like I was some loose woman making a spectacle of myself.

[Complaining about Thrandad is her duty, somehow. Fact is that he's kept her from getting hurt, probably more than she has yet realized.]

[ He cannot (does not wish to) quite disguise the worry in his voice - she had been so pleased, the last he saw of her on the lockets, so brimming with enthusiasm over her new project. He hates the war, hates the Seelie Queen, but he cannot hate the young edain girl who was smart enough to chase him away. And he worries, a little, at her current state ]

[Normally Ryan's the calm, rational twin. Normally he just goes along with Sharpay bullying people and he's the nice one to make up for that.

But Sharpay's not here and this? This is actually hilarious. The video feed's on and even though the focus is on Kelsi, it's clear that he's in the background and he's just busy laughing, trying to control himself long enough to say something.]

I hate to break this to you, but I don't think Lancelot's really the dancing type. [He'd know okay, they've had this discussion and that's the only reason he's sticking his nose into this at all instead of letting Kelsi respond by herself.

There's one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb, though, and she chooses her words very carefully, trying her best to sound like Taylor and waving a hand to get Ryan to stop for a moment. ]

Sigrid? Don't let the fairies edge you on about--you know, kissing and stuff. Just when you're ready. [ And, carefully: ] And even if they're good looking... Especially not with Jon Snow or Lancelot. Or anyone like that. It's probably best to try that stuff with someone our own age--[ She's very careful to emphasize 'our age,' despite being older than Sigrid and around the two men in question's age. ] --and not older, okay?
