[with many trial and errors, jean finally managed to figure out how people video record on this thing!!! not that he even knows what a video is other than people actually moving on this... this fancy looking locket. but whatever, the point is that he finally managed to get it figured out!

well sort of. okay so he still might need to work out a few kinks when it comes to using this thing. but he got this for the moment! or at least he thinks he does. anyway- the video starts off by being to close to his beautiful face. he looks at it curiously before murmuring quietly to himself. he then adjusts the space between himself and the locket a few moments afterwards and finally comes up with something decent.] This is stupid. [sigh!!]

Alright, I've got a question I want to ask but never really got to ask when I first got here. Thank you Titan Worms. [ssssssuuuuure someone might have mentioned it's actual name to him, but ehhh. this worked out just fine.] But anyway, I was kind of curious to know if anyone knew anybody that was brought here but is dead in your own world? [he pauses.]

Like, I've got this friend who's here, and he died in my world. But.... It's like he doesn't even remember dying in the battle we were fighting in. He remembers fighting in it, but he doesn't remember fighting a Titan by himself. Anyway, I was wondering if something like that happened to anyone else that's here. [he backpedals a little, because oh yeah. marco can probably see this shit.] I mean- it's not that I don't mind that he's alive here! Like I said before, he was one of my best friends back home, and I'm sure we'll be able to slip back in to how things used to be between us. But.... I don't know. [he grumbles quietly as he runs his free hand down his face.]

Is this sort of thing normal here?

[his eyes widen a bit at the statement.] Really? Do you think you can figure out a way for us to get home then? But, ah. You mean like easier to get at? ['cause if that's the case he can kind of understand that. if he thought about it long and hard, maybe.]

[ She nods, once, but - really, she doesn't look entirely enthused about the idea of going home. ] I've had a look around the library but I haven't found anything solid to help us go home. At least, not yet. [ Research is her forte, after all. Still - ] Exactly. They can't exactly use a person who's passed on, can they? And if we die what happens to our shards?

Right.... do you know where this library is inside the castle?[he's not entirely sure how well a library will help in this case. but then again he's also sure positive that this place has more information on different things than just titans. why would you keep information on something that's not even here?] But aren't they? I've talked to a couple of people that shouldn't even be alive, but yet here they are living and breathing. What if they have the power to bring us back to life should something happen?

[he pauses a little.] Though I can't say I'm willing to risk knowing if they actually are that generous.

I do. I've been spending quite a lot of time there. It's on one of the upper floors, the great room with arched doors. You can take out any book you like apart from anything in the restricted section - they said we needed the queen's permission to go in there. [ Is she a little petulant about that? Maybe. Yes. Definitely. ] I don't know about that; no magic I've ever head of has had that power, not without a cost none of us can afford.

They have a restricted section for books? [jean quirks a brow curiously as he stares down at his locket.] Well.... alright then, but thanks. I'll see what I can come up with too. The more the merrier right? [he's not particularly excited about this. but hey. if it helps him understand where he is and who these people are that brought them here. then he'll give it a try.]

Ah, I guess you'd know more about it than I would. But wasn't the magic they used to bring us here a lot too?

Some information might be dangerous for people to learn about, or have some kind of dark magic - that was the reason when I was at school. [ She smiles and nods her head, once, sharply. ] It's a different kind of cost. An emotional one, a spiritual one and a physical one. The only man I've ever known to cheat death, other than using a stone that didn't really make him immortal, murdered people to do it, to rip his soul into parts.

That's sort of how things are like for me back home. [he at least knew expressing interest in the world outside the walls was a taboo.] Except we don't have any books to stumble across.

[his brows quirk and his jaw drops] He- wait, what?! He ripped his soul into parts? How is that even possible?!

That's terrible! I can't imagine a world where you can't have books to read and use to learn. It sounds appalling.

[ Then she pauses, taking a deep breath and shaking her head. ]

Through awful, terrible Dark magic. It's - it's absolutely foul.

[he waves a hand.] Well, we do have some books. But those are mostly about Titans and how to kill them. And things like... children books about old fairy tails.

And you're sure they didn't bring us here by using Dark magic?

Titans? I suppose they're rather like... Giants? [ She frowns; and how to kill them. That's not something she's entirely okay with, but she can't judge someone else for what happens in their world - she isn't there, she doesn't know. Hermione's learned about rash judgement the hard way. ]

I don't think so. I think I'd know if it was Dark Magic and nothing I've ever studied was like this.

If these Giants destroy everything in their path eat people en masse, then yup. That'd be them.

Oh, huh... I guess you'd know, huh?
