Where I come from, there are nine known, documented realms. Nine worlds. The realms of the gods, the giants, the dying, and the dead among them. I have seen most all of them myself, and I must say, they hardly compare to the remarkable land I find myself in now. Very quaint.

The gods don't really "mingle" much. They mostly just hang out up on Olympus and go about their jobs and only bother with us if there's something that needs doing.

Ah, the Greeks. [ he's read all your stories. how's Zeus today, etc. ] It sounds very like them. Why bother wasting all that effort for mere human trivialities?

And Romans. [it's jupiter for him, actually.] And those "mere human trivialities" are their kids. Expecting at least an occasional visit or something doesn't seem like it's asking much.

[he's not quite luke levels of bitter about it, but that doesn't mean he can't be quietly depressed. everyone else has gotten to meet their parent at least once, after all.]
