[ The video shows a young woman, her face framed by slightly wavy hair the color of rich soil. Unseen is the weight of many centuries that lie upon her strong shoulders, and would make her ancient rather than young in the eyes of some.

Her large, hazel eyes are sharp as those of a bird of prey as she fixes them upon her locket. ]

I am Lady Sif of Asgard, my allegiance is to my king and my home, and much as the rulers of this court seem to wish it, that will not change simply because they imagine themselves to have some manner of claim on me.

Do not think me craven, I have no fear of battle, but I will not seek it out merely because a stranger tells me that it is my duty.

So I put the question to you now, my fellow recruits: Why do you fight?

Perhaps, if given enough cause. It is difficult to say, since I know so little of this realm.

[ She has been spending a lot of her time recently fighting on behalf of other realms, the notion is not such a strange one for her. ]

But I will remain sworn to Asgard first no matter what.

Were my prince not here, I might think the same as you. Or at least I might give it deeper consideration.

[Also... if she was not aligned against her friends.]

What court have you found yourself placed in?

The Seelie. And you?

[tawarwaith]

[A very soft sigh.]

Unseelie. A many of my troubles spring forth because of it.

[fiercestwarrior]

Ah. You have people you care for in this court?

[tawarwaith]

My closest friend is of that court, as are a few others I care for and respect. Then again, I have made allies in this court as well.. [There is a small pause, and not quite a sigh.] It is an uncomfortable place I am in.

[fiercestwarrior]

It truly is. I myself have no one here that I would yet call a friend, though there is one who knows my prince.

[ Can she still call Thor that now that he has rejected the throne? The thought is a sad one, and this is not the time to ponder it and so she resolutely pushes it aside. There will be time enough for sadness in this place, that much she is sure of. ]

[tawarwaith]

If they were a friend to your prince, then perhaps then they will be a friend to you as well? We may not yet be friends yet, but I would be glad to call an ally if you are willing to look past the barriers these courts try to impose upon us.

[She offers that hope at least. When she first arrived it had been daunting not knowing who she could call a friend or if those who knew her would even wish to speak with her since she was Unseelie.]

Perhaps in time. An ally at least, I believe. And I see no reason not to think of you as such as well, if that is your wish.

[ She has no reasons to be biased one way or the other when it comes to the courts, really. ]

[tawarwaith]

I would rather the courts work together than for there to be war and bloodshed between us.

[And also she has all but decided to declare herself as unaligned. Not that she would confess that over an open network and then not even over the lockets. She feared that word might reach the rulers.]

Perhaps we will have a chance soon for us to meet.

Hopefully under peaceful circumstances.

[ Tauriel seems like someone she could get along with, it would be a great pity if they ended up trying to do one another harm. ]

I have no intention of raising a banner for the unseelie, at least not unless all cause is lost to me.

[ And everyone she even remotely cares bout who is Seelie is gone or dead. ]

Then I do think it would please me if one day we could meet face to face.

[tawarwaith]

I'm glad to hear of it! I will be heading to the Station soon, perhaps we might meet there one day.

[Because she has no plans on staying at Caer Scrima.]

Indeed.

[ Screw the courts, she'll spend time with whoever she wants, damn it! ]
