[Peeta's trying to ignore the politics as best as he can, really. It's depressing to think that this world may not be as great as he thought it was. It's evening when he turns on the video, right after supper. He has a bit of white paint on his cheek.

He smiles at the camera.] I've met a lot of artists here. Are there anymore out there?

[He moves the locket so that it's pointing to a canvas. Painted on it is a very realistic painting of the moon, lovely and lonely-looking against a dark sky.] I've been working on this one today.

[He returns the camera to his face, looking troubled.] Do you think this world is better? Or worse? Or just different?

[He doesn't seem to want to offer up his own opinion, and closes the locket.]

I can see why this world would seem better.

Aye, it seems to me that a conflict with just two kings in opposition is a welcome relief, though only by comparison.

What of your world? Is it worse than this one?

I thought so. I'm still not sure of this world. But I know my future in my world wasn't looking good.

It seemed like this world was a relief, but I worry that people are just the same here.

People are the same everywhere, I think. Only different in the ways they were taught to be by those who raised them. Men are still men even in this place... though some men here are fairies, or elves, or otherwise queer, and for them I couldn't rightly say.
