[ Allison's first ever post on the network is her sitting on her bed, a large bow sitting on her lap. In her hands, she's got a single arrow, green and white fletched. She's toying with it as she talks to the network, and she looks a little proud but mostly sheepish. ] So I guess helping out those fairies was a good thing.

[ She clears her throat. ]

So, since I want to try it out... I was just wondering, anyone want to go with me? It's always more fun to practice with someone else.

[ She reaches out to turn the locket off, but remembers something! ] My name is Allison, by the way! I haven't really introduced myself on here, yet.

[ There's a small, kind of self conscious wave, and then she shuts the video off. ]

[Well, that could be awkward. Not that Chieri cares about the court divide or can't teleport, but the drabwurld's environment has made it unstable and getting into another court's castle might not be the best idea considering how the fae treat them]

Which castle is that? Thinking about it, you didn't mention your court.

[ Allison blinks, because wasn't this just supposed to go to her court? Isn't that how this worked? ] Seelie. I'm at Caer Glaem. Aren't you?

[Yep. Awkward. Chieri shakes her head, trying to act casual.]

I'm Unseelie, on the outskirts of Caer Scima. 'A while' may have been an understatement.

[ Allison knows they're here to fight a war, but this girl? ] Maybe there's still a way.

[ Somehow. ]

Well, I have the ability to teleport. [She reveals, as if there's no point hiding your abilities from enemies in a war. She does not, however, mention the instability of it in the Drabwurld.] Whether or not I'd be welcome in your castle is another thing, perhaps we could meet somewhere?

[ Allison thinks for a minute. ] We could go to the Station? I think that's neutral.

[ If there's anywhere else, she hasn't heard of it. ] Although I can't teleport, so it might be a couple weeks.

[That's a pleasant surprise, offering even if it might take so long. Chieri's polite smile looks a little more genuine]

I can get there. I'd like to come meet you if I could, if you don't mind the travel too. It feels a bit odd having to meet someone halfway… [Her groups tagline is 'idols that come to see you', after all.] I don't want to put you out Allison, I wonder if there's a way I could help you travel?

[ She smiles. ] It's really not a problem. I've been wanting to head out that way anyway. It'd be nice to get out, I think. I can contact you when I get there, if you like?

[Chieri nods] It's an interesting place to explore, that's for certain. I'll definitely come to meet you when you do.

It's a plan, then, Chieri!

[Yay making friends yay]

Mm! It's a promise, Allison. It'll give me time to find a good bow, too.

Thank you. What sort of bow do you think would be good to get? You'd definitely know better than me. I could show you the ones we have on the video.

[ Allison thinks for a moment. ] Try to find something you can draw easily. Your arms shouldn't shake, and it shouldn't be too difficult to pull the string. Don't release it like you're firing the bow, though -- it can damage it. Try to find a glove or something to cover at least the two fingers of the hand you're using to pull the string, so you don't get blisters or hurt yourself. They may even have some down there, they'll cover the first three fingers of your hand. [ A pause, as she thinks another moment. ]

If there's someone there to help you, try to find a recurve instead of a long bow. If not, send me a video of what they have and I'll tell you what to pick. Back home, in my family, we usually start out with a compound, because it has sights for accuracy, and the hold weight ends up being a little lighter. With a recurve or long bow, you have to rely on instinct to get an accurate shot.

[ Wait. ] I'm probably getting too technical, sorry.

[Chieri's had intense training lessons since she was a small child, she's had speeches like this she's been expected to remember so she falls back into that mindset easily, filing away important bits of information to call on later, she's paying rapt attention]
