[ Allison's first ever post on the network is her sitting on her bed, a large bow sitting on her lap. In her hands, she's got a single arrow, green and white fletched. She's toying with it as she talks to the network, and she looks a little proud but mostly sheepish. ] So I guess helping out those fairies was a good thing.

[ She clears her throat. ]

So, since I want to try it out... I was just wondering, anyone want to go with me? It's always more fun to practice with someone else.

[ She reaches out to turn the locket off, but remembers something! ] My name is Allison, by the way! I haven't really introduced myself on here, yet.

[ There's a small, kind of self conscious wave, and then she shuts the video off. ]

[Chieri's more of a sword user herself, but it's always good to learn new skills. Especially with guns out of commission, she needs a new projectile weapon. If Allison is interested, she'd like to give it a try.]

I'm Chieri, nice to meet you Allison. I've never tried it much, would you mind practicing with a beginner?

You said the fairies gave you that?

[ Allison looks... slightly offended but more confused!] I... wouldn't be asking if I didn't.

Not at all! Everyone starts somewhere.

Sort of? They asked me if I wanted anything, because I helped cure some sick fairies a while ago... I just told them a new bow and some arrows. And this is what I got.

( voice. )

[ okay, now that she's jealous of, if only because she wasn't too happy facing down imps.

she still refused to kill any of them. ]

You got to cure them? I just got stuck with a bunch of nasty imps that really liked to bite.

[ Allison shrugs, and then realizes, duh, this girl can't see her. ]

I'm alright. It's... a pretty big hobby for me back home, so I'm not awful.

The castle. [ Yeah she's not entirely aware that she's broadcast this to literally everyone. Whoops. ] I can meet you at the armory if you want? Help you pick one out?

Oh. [ Well that... makes sense. ] Yeah, I do. Do you?

[Well, that could be awkward. Not that Chieri cares about the court divide or can't teleport, but the drabwurld's environment has made it unstable and getting into another court's castle might not be the best idea considering how the fae treat them]

Which castle is that? Thinking about it, you didn't mention your court.

[ artemis seems to consider that for a few minutes. she gets the feeling that "not awful" is code for "pretty good" which in turn is a humble way of saying "pretty awesome," in her opinion. buuuut she's trying not to jump to conclusions too fast about this. ]

I guess I could use the target practice. [ seeing as she's... really no good at this "conversation" thing. ] Which castle are you in?

[ Allison blinks, because wasn't this just supposed to go to her court? Isn't that how this worked? ] Seelie. I'm at Caer Glaem. Aren't you?

[Yep. Awkward. Chieri shakes her head, trying to act casual.]

I'm Unseelie, on the outskirts of Caer Scima. 'A while' may have been an understatement.

[ Allison knows they're here to fight a war, but this girl? ] Maybe there's still a way.

Well, I have the ability to teleport. [She reveals, as if there's no point hiding your abilities from enemies in a war. She does not, however, mention the instability of it in the Drabwurld.] Whether or not I'd be welcome in your castle is another thing, perhaps we could meet somewhere?

[ If there's anywhere else, she hasn't heard of it. ] Although I can't teleport, so it might be a couple weeks.
