["Son of a bitch," is pretty much what Nico's thinking at this point. For the moment, he's wedged himself in a safe, shadowed place so that he can get an announcement out. His voice is low, trying not to let any of the natives find out where he is.]

To any Shardbearers on either Court planning on ever visiting Leathann: don't. The Seven-Star Oracle, a very powerful and prominent figure here, was killed and they say it was a Shardbearer who did it. Things are going to Tartarus in a wrapped hand-basket.

[ either way, after more than a few hours of reading, she finds an empty spot in the library so she can turn on her locket, stacking up a few books so she can leave the locket on top and keep her hands free. she turns on a video feed shortly after, showing a slightly weary but otherwise focused redhead with her hair pulled back in a messy ( seriously messy, untamed mass of curls ) ponytail. ]

Hey. [ she's not exactly whispering, her voice just isn't capable of whispering most of the time, it's a sad fact of being a big-mouth, but she's trying. ] So, alright. I know the timing is bad because of what's going on with the vampires and the elves, but I need some help finding information, if you guys are up for it. [ "you guys" meaning everyone that has access to this broadcast, yep. but she'll act like she's talking to everyone personally, one-on-one. it's easier that way. ]

I'd like to learn more about the Aellyn elven clan. I- [ she's not sure if she should be talking about this publicly, but it makes more sense than trying to navigate around it. honesty is the best policy, and all that. she'll just.. avoid stating it outright, as much as she can ] I've been asked to help them with something, something really important - to me, at least - but the things I've read about them don't exactly paint a clear picture for why I should do it. So, I guess I'm just asking for advice on this.

Judging by what I read, I'm not sure I understand why they'd ask me, a member of the Seelie court, for help. I know there's a lot going on with the different elven clans right now, but have they outwardly chosen a side in our war, too? [ she huffs ] I must sound so ignorant, I'm sorry. Um. [ moving on! ] The things I can do would explain why they'd like my help, and I know the Oracle herself didn't align herself with either side, but it still seems a little sticky, y'know? [ "sticky" is the best she can come up with after being in a quiet library for wayway too long ] And I'm thinking this is an even longer longshot, but - I've read a little bit about the first Seven Star Oracle, how her power manifests and that sort of thing, but I have a few questions about the most recent one, if anyone might be able to help with that. I'd like to know about every Seer that's held the position, but the most recent might be a good place to start.

Uhh- [ she's shifting books around on the table now, flicking through pages ] Prophecies! There have to be prophecies here, right? Great Prophecies, I'm talking about fate of the world stuff here. Did anyone actually hear the last prophecy of the Seven Star Oracle before she was killed? [ she actually winces after she asks, realizing she's probably getting too caught up in this, too fast. ] Gods, this is so- [ she huffs ] I just- I can't go there, to the Spire, and ask the people there for answers when they're going to be in mourning. As they should be, but-

[ ohhhh she's babbling, and she knows it. she shuts her eyes and shakes her head, squares her shoulders ]

I'm just looking for any information you guys are willing to give me. About the elves I might be traveling with, the history of the Oracle, any prophecies she's given that haven't come to pass yet. Anything that might help.

Thanks.

I -- [ hmm. sansa presses her lips together and wonders (briefly) whether it is a foolish request in the face of war. and yet she pursues it for an honourable cause. she wishes to gather certain tales for certain purposes. ] I want to hear stories. Stories of grand adventures undertaken by brave Seelie heroes. I cannot be the only one who's struck by such curiousity. Please -- share what you've learned.

[ and for every legend well-told and well-lauded she will make a point to include it within a very...pointed celebration in treun. perhaps encouraging even the shardless to think upon the bright bold tales of the seelie court will further endear that court to their hearts. it's a little like letting the right song be played at the right moment, falling upon the right ears. she wants to inspire treun -- or else certain parts of it -- to think more kindly on caer glaem. and she needs fellow shardbearers to help her. ] Tell me of the Seelie court's fabled champions and its well-mourned martyrs. What have you heard recounted by the hearth-side? Whispered on the road? Stories even the natives have told for centuries, mayhaps.

[ some hours later in the day an 'accidental' feed broadcasts. it consists of the locket falling open and catching sight of a pile of books. sounds of rustling. a cleared throat. and at long last a mild: ] Seven have mercy. What a troublesome thing you are and how -- [ sansa addresses the locket she had flipped open on purpose, pretending to be clumsy. this is a quiet way in which to invite conversation with those she might not otherwise feel brave enough to seek out -- unseelie friends, soon separated from her by a roiling oncoming war. ] -- How stupid of me.

[ a novice ruse! however, she has such an earnest and gentle face it might just be worth believing by most, if not by all. ]
