[ Someone's chilling in boxers in a steaming hot spring he'd obviously made for himself. Problem is, everything around him is covered in an ungodly amount of snow. ]

You never actually miss the sight of hot babes in short skirts and plunging necklines until your spire gets dumped in a place so cold Satan would probably freeze his butthairs off. On the bright side, I think I might've spotted a yeti. Or that might've been someone's mother-in-law, who knows?

[ Still, Johnny looks largely unaffected by the mildly unfriendly climate. He's fishing an egg out of the hot spring, cracking it on the ice. It's hard-boiled. ]

So, anyway, Gailleann's basically stuck in Everwinter. When life gives you snowballs, make an awesome sport out of it, right? [ He bites into the egg, chews carefully, then swallows and adds: ] If you're sick of the tropical, muggy weather and want to come by, the Spire's open to you. The fires are always burning in Gaillean. Just don't try to kill anyone, and we're good.

More importantly: there's a new skating rink that my guys just worked overtime to make, and a bunch of awesome slopes I spent days creating; go nuts on it and tell me what you think! I'm always a fan of continuous improvement.

You ought to put an ice pack on those eyes. If by "tricks" you mean to ask how things are, they're about as well as can be expected. Why would you do that with the snow, though? To fortify that wall further?

Well, I won't need them now that I've seen you. [ Hmmm. ] Well, it's more like I get to snowboard off it. Not as thrilling, but until I find some awesome mountains to do that off of, this'll have to do. D'you know what snowboarding is?

Plenty of room in here for one more, babe. You know I'll keep you and your nuggets nice and warm. [ He pauses. ] Bring more eggs if you're coming down, though. I think I finished 'em up.

Oh, I don't doubt that you made plenty of room.

[Amused. But that's not a 'no', and he just might come down and surprise him later.]

I don't suppose any winged deer have been by to drink?

[ Her nose wrinkles, ever so slightly, but she continues. ]

I am travelling, but I have paid visit to the spire. It is my duty.

You seriously made a ski resort?

[I mean, he's impressed, and it's kind of cool, but he's really not ready to make himself comfortable.]

Am planning to! Or at least organise some form of sport or another, or else I'll set something on fire.

[ Johnny winks at her. It's not cheating if Jack approves of it, babe; and Johnny is startlingly, singularly devoted to the man. ] Glad to see you made it. How's things?

[She's just teasing him, though. She means no harm by it.]

You are wise to be undaunted. [ She has a true smile for Johnny, for few others inspire such immediate warmth in her. A smile, and then a curious look at the snow and ice. She knows what both look like, from stories and visions both, but she has never so much as touched snow. ] Have you explored much of your new home?

You're the first person to call me wise. [ He laughs. Correction: this stunningly beautiful queen. Johnny lights up when he sees her, always one to wear his emotions on his sleeve. He's genuinely fond of Daenerys, and he picks up on her curiosity -- it feels less annoying to be here now that he knows most of his favorite people are here, too.

He's missed her. He leans forward, his smile just as warm, a gentle one reserved for her. ] More or less. Would you like to come by sometime? It's cold as hell, but you don't have to worry about that when I'm around.

Ah, but I know what I see, [ she teases. Some here have chosen to complain about their new standing, but Dany has rarely had the luxury of complaint. There's nothing for the barons to do about where their spires have reemerged, and Johnny has already begun to adapt.

His smile softens her; she has always known him to be genuine to an extent that would see him slain in her world. The little quip about his body heat draws a laugh of her own. She grants him a bit of sweet indulgence: ] You will keep me warm, I'm certain. You and my dragons. [ She doesn't fear the cold, and she will have cause to be closer to Everwinter than he thinks. ] Ride with me, and you may see them fly and fish. We should like to see your spire and its new wonders. [ Perhaps there are wonders on the glacier, as well. She's read fantastical tales about the Land of Always Winter, beyond the Wall in Westeros. ]

[In spite of everything, Simon still found that Johnny's antics made him smile. He'd mostly stayed at the spire since he arrived back here, Jack having been kind enough to offer him a room. Johnny, too, had never been anything but good to him.

At the moment, though, he's boarded a ship and is headed across the sea to the more familiar continent where Dorchadas and Glaschu could be found. There had been some talk of new shardbearers arriving soon, and, stupidly, he couldn't resist going to see who would be among them. So he's looking a little less downcast than he's usually been lately, having, at the moment, swung back around to hoping Kieren would come back, even though he knew he probably shouldn't. Another part of his brightened mood is thanks to this broadcast. He also has something he'd been meaning to bring to Johnny's attention. A couple of things, actually.]

I'll have to give that ice rink a try when I get back. [He'd never been skating, though.] Since you're talking about improvement, is there an easier way to get to the spire? It's far from the nearest fairy ring, maybe your court might build one for you if you asked?

[He turns, sitting down, and the sea can no longer be seen behind him.] Maybe you already know, but Leathann's looking for trading partners, they're wanting to get back on their feet. [He didn't know that Johnny, too, had been at the Leathann festival, he hadn't really spent an awful lot of time there.] I thought Gailleann could be part of that, if you wanted. It'd help a lot of the people there.

[ Well hey, look who's popped up! Johnny grins. ] Yeah, I was just thinking about asking the court to make me a fairy ring, so it's less annoying to get to -- but for now, I do the whole transport thing! We've got sleds and you can sometimes use the Johnny Storm Express if you've got the stomach for it.

[ He settles in thoughtfully, regarding him. ] Trade, huh? I like the sound of that. The people here need more than just food and clothes, and I'm thinking of getting trade going, too. Are you brokering for Leathann?
