[ Despite the inherent excitement that is likely what lead to her being actually, properly visible to people outside of the supernatural realm, there are just some things a ghost cannot shake off. Like the fact that while on recording, regardless of how corporeal they are in person, a ghost is still a ghost. She's visible, but only to an extent. Like a hazy, transparent projection, embossed against the image as if poorly photoshopped in. ]

So does this thing record or is it more like a .. live broadcast sort of thing? Kind of hope not, but if it is, hello! I guess.

[ If there was something she wanted to say ... well, she doesn't seem keen on saying it. Or perhaps there'd been nothing of great importance to begin with. She just sits there looking amicably pleased, watching the little transmission locket in pure interest. ]

... I'm Annie by the way. From England- since I've noticed this isn't England anymore. [ Look she'd only paid partial attention to what the fairies had said, to begin with. ] Anyway, bit of a strange question. Thoughts on, er, vampires? Werewolves? ... Ghosts? Just curious. Study purposes, personal interest. That sort of thing. 

[ Another beaming little smile and the transmission ends. She really isn't good at this. ]

Yes! Exactly. I think I've done that before. Just a few months ago- it was really, really dramatic. Ugh. Vampires.

Now I have to ask: are vampires for you more of what Bram Stoker wrote about, or--?

Gosh, no. They're- well on the outside at least, they're just like a normal human being. They kind of like living that way. Integrated and such.

That makes sense. Easier to move around undetected, I'm sure.

I assume so. They're really unassuming at first, usually.

All the better for them. It also makes it a little easier to picture vampires in Bristol, admittedly.

Or vampires from anywhere. [ They've become a bit commonplace, in Annie's case. ]

Now I'm wondering exactly how many I might've passed by in London without even noticing!

Loads, I'd imagine.

[ Should she really be saying all this? These were important secrets to be kept in her world, and yet it seemed that here, every second person already knew ... Did it negate the rules? Would this come back and bite her in the arse? Possibly. ]

Ah, no, you didn't. [Waver's not sure which name to go with - he's been using his official title for everything so far as a cover and to build a persona. But the liklihood of someone from England seeing through the whole lord thing is much more likely. So the real one will have to do, even if it might be an error in the long run.]

Oh, you're a professor? Well, it's very nice to meet you.

[ False or real names aren't high on Annie's list of concerns, at the very least. And even if she finds his name a little ... interesting, she isn't so impolite as to outright laugh at it. A smirk will do just fine. Behaving properly in front of people is a habit she'd fallen out of, as of late. ]

Oh no, it's fine. What are you a professor of? Or are you one of those ... general professor types?

Chemistry, although for a while it looked like I might be a general professor type. I teach at a private uni in London.

And, for the sake of curiosity, which side of these court factions are you on?

Hm. Can't imagine teaching at a university; gosh I can't imagine teaching any sort of school. Maybe children, that might be alright. [ Off topic, Annie. ]

Court? Oh! You mean like with the fairies and the .. Imps. I'm in the Seelie court. I think. The one with all the fairies. And you?

Honestly, the students aren't the problem. The battles with uni administration is what makes things a lot more tiring. [Nah, not off topic at all. He likes talking about work.] What do you do back home?

Unseelie, the opposite end of the spectrum.

Ah, yes. Politics of the administrative kind. The worst of the worst. [ She sounds very know-it-all wise. Sort of. ]

I'm um... between jobs, right now. Nothing as prestigious as working at a university- I had a job at a pub a little while ago. Didn't... work out so well, actually. Sort of a- a stay-at-home mom, now.

Unseelie is with the imps, yes? What's the big difference between the two, anyway?

[Oh he could tell so many stories about the administration he has to deal with.] I'd say that sounds relaxing, but I know enough people with kids to understand that that is really not true.

The ideological difference is chaos versus order. And the Unseelie side is a little darker and grimmer, from the looks of the background on your video.

Oh, no they're not- really kids. They're sort of in that .. flying the coop, stage, anyway.

[ A fact she seems to sour over. Or dishearten. ]

So ... Seelie is order, Unseelie is chaos. That isn't some big metaphor for good and bad, is it? [ Frown. ]

Oh, goodness, then I misspoke. My apologies.

[Waver makes a little eeeehhhn noise before continuing.]

They're a spectrum, but they don't fall neatly into good or bad. You can be a giant dick and promote order, or like to chaos chaos for higher ups if it serves an ultimately good purpose, as two examples.

No, no. That was on me, I never said. [ Laughing just a little too hard- but only just. ]

Oh, okay. That makes ... a lot more sense, actually. Order and chaos not necessarily being good and evil- I like that.

Fair enough.

Think about it more like Greek mythology. The gods aren't good or bad, they just make things more or less crazy for the mortals. And they're at least better than the Titans who are more game for chaos.

There's nothing like the Titans here, are there? Like in the Unseelie court or something?
