[ Despite the inherent excitement that is likely what lead to her being actually, properly visible to people outside of the supernatural realm, there are just some things a ghost cannot shake off. Like the fact that while on recording, regardless of how corporeal they are in person, a ghost is still a ghost. She's visible, but only to an extent. Like a hazy, transparent projection, embossed against the image as if poorly photoshopped in. ]

So does this thing record or is it more like a .. live broadcast sort of thing? Kind of hope not, but if it is, hello! I guess.

[ If there was something she wanted to say ... well, she doesn't seem keen on saying it. Or perhaps there'd been nothing of great importance to begin with. She just sits there looking amicably pleased, watching the little transmission locket in pure interest. ]

... I'm Annie by the way. From England- since I've noticed this isn't England anymore. [ Look she'd only paid partial attention to what the fairies had said, to begin with. ] Anyway, bit of a strange question. Thoughts on, er, vampires? Werewolves? ... Ghosts? Just curious. Study purposes, personal interest. That sort of thing. 

[ Another beaming little smile and the transmission ends. She really isn't good at this. ]

Not that I know of, but do not quote me on that. I might end up being hilariously wrong in the future.

Oh good. Chances of that happening are low, I hope?

I really hope. Has anyone filled you in on what happened in the past two months?

[teaspectre]

No. Wait, yes! Well, sort of. Someone mentioned there'd been a big sort of .. battle or something. Just missed it. But that's all I know. Have you been here longer?

About two months now.

And eh, I am not sure a battle would be a good term for it. Fight, definitely. The queens plopped groups into the other's side and asked us to do some harm to the opposing side, essentially. A month prior, there were simply some oversized worms mucking about that needed to be taken care of. I'm not sure if those belonged to anyone in particular.

O-Oversized worms? [ Because clearly that's the only important bit. ]

They're gone right? Like completely and totally?

As far as I know.

This ins't some worm phobia that I've accidentally hit, is it?

Er, no. But who wouldn't be averse to- to giant worms! That's normal!

Wait, wait. Vampires are a thing back home, but giant worms are out of the question?

Yes! Vampires are human-shaped, with human faces and- and worms are gross anyway, but having them be enormous?

[ She shudders, visibly and in much, much disgust. ]

[Waver feels a little bad laughing, so he manages to stifle it.]

I think that your levels of normalcy may need to be adjusted then.

Says you. [ Grumble grumble. Not that she sounds entirely serious; this is a pouting ghost. ] At least they're gone.

Look, if they come back you have full permission to come and yell at me. How's that?

Oh, that is a dangerous off, sir. I'll take it, and if they ever do come back...

Ugh, let's be honest here, I'll probably be hiding in the attic if those things ever show themselves.

Better to know you'd be bad in a fight and stay out of the way of people that know how to do that than to try and get yourself (and everyone else) hurt, as far as I'm concerned!

Whoa, I never said I was bad in a fight. I mean, I don't enjoy fighting- and not against giant worms, but. I can- I can hold my own. That's what we're doing here anyway, isn't it? Helping the ... fairies, or something.
