Hello everyone! I'm Yuzuriha Nekoi, fourteen years old, and right now I live in Tokyo, Japan! I've just arrived here, and I'm glad to meet everyone!

( don't falter! but she bites her lip. ) Um, I just had one question! I heard we're supposed to be 'helping in a battle,' but I don't know exactly how we're supposed to start? ( she also doesn't realise these questions can be filtered. or really that there's another group she's meant to be filtering from. yuzuriha frowns slightly, clasping her hands before her. after all, if she abandoned everyone for this place, she has to do her duty, right? ) Um… or… really, what to do in general… ( she trades a look with the wolf pup/empty space beside her, and then remembers that she's supposed to be making a good impression, not worrying. hurriedly: )

But it really is very nice to be here! I'm ready to do my best, so I hope we all get along!

( she seems to falter a bit. no, well, she does falter a bit. it wasn't a rejection, but she knows a subject change when she hears one. ) Um, well… I live in Tokyo, but I'm from Chichibu.

I've never heard of this land. Who is king there?

Um, well, I guess there's the Emperor, but…

( seems like a weird question. maybe she isn't familiar with japan at all? yuzuriha did have her pegged as a foreigner, and it's not like she knows a ton about other countries either! )

Tokyo is the capital of Japan.

I am not familiar with Japan.

Oh… ( maybe that's not too surprising; she doesn't falter long. ) It's really nice! I mean… I think so. I've never travelled before now, so I don't have a lot to compare it to.

Where are you from?

[steeledskin]

A land called Westeros. But it seems to be by chance whether any given person taken here knows it or not.

[relieson]

I haven't heard of it… but I haven't studied a lot of geography or anything! Is it nice?

[steeledskin]

Not particularly. No. No nicer or less nice than any other place, I imagine. Some parts are very beautiful.

[ but she would never call them nice. ]

That's not much of an answer, is it?

It's only that I suppose there is a difference between beautiful and nice.

So you don't like your home?

[steeledskin]

I like parts of it. The Vale is particularly pretty.

( not quite a hesitation, but a thoughtful sort of look, at that vague sort of answer. it's replaced quickly by her customary enthusiasm. )

Really? What's it like?

Ringed with mountains! Great, tall, giant ones!

Oh, that's wonderful! Mitsumine is up in the mountains too!

...Mitsumine?

Mitsumine Temple. That's where I grew up.

[steeledskin]

You grew up in a Temple. Does that mean you've taken some sort of...orders?

[relieson]

Orders?

[steeledskin]

Perhaps you took some solemn spiritual vows at your temple?

[relieson]

Um… no, not really! I mean, it's only an old Shinto shrine.

Of course I'm not saying that I don't love it! My family has always looked after the shrine! But I'm not a miko or anything.
