Good evening. To those I have not yet met, my name is Berserker, I feel it is always best to start with introductions, especially here, where there is no code to follow in them.

What I am asking today is the subject of medicine and healing. As some will know, I am a doctor and a scientist. Yet it is rather more difficult to pursue here, especially now, after what we have lost. I hope members of each court might set aside differences in the midst of war to speak on the subject, as sharing such information would benefit not only shardbearers, but the common people as well. Medical assistance is, after all, a basic right, and not something which should be withheld even from an enemy.

Of healers, I would ask after your methods, whether that of your own world, or adopted here. Magic, natural remedies, anything at all. Or else where one might find further information.

Botanists, or any others familiar with the plants of the Drabwurld might also be of use. The fewer which must be experimented upon to find medicinal properties, the better, of course. Once again, even peculiarities within your own world, as the knowledge may very well prove useful here.

In addition, if anyone - and I do mean anyone at all, regardless of court status or otherwise - if anyone would like medicines of some sort to keep for emergencies, I would be glad to provide. As of yet I have managed to compound a few pain relievers and the like, but would happily work to find some solution for anything. And of course, should any require proper medical attention, do contact me at any time.

Please do feel free to use this as a forum to discuss the subject among yourselves, if at all appropriate.

I've healed some natives with a healing rune to th' best of my abilities but there are still those out there who I might have overlooked. Sadly I couldn't search everywhere.

Unfortunately a proper search party would have to be formed in order to have any hope of coming across all in need of help. Even then, it's more than likely more than a few would be missed. You needn't cause yourself grief over it, your efforts are truly admirable.

I suppose that I do not think it is something that only the rich should have. It is... not something I have thought about in more than abstract terms in a number of years.

A pararescue? I am not familiar with the term, although I suppose the root words are partially telling. I'm sure you've much more modern medical knowledge than I. Still, I would be glad to share what I know, as I am somewhat aware of magic. Have you researched magic at all, whether here or elsewhere?

I could not agree more with aught of what you have said, Doctor. And I am familiar with the herb lore of England. Should an opportunity to familiarize myself with the flora of this land arise, I shall take it immediately.

Ah, yes, you would be! I suppose it would be best to ask natives of the flora and their uses for it, come to think of it? Though there are plenty familiar things I've managed to find dried in the markets. The coming of spring will help.

As to medicines - numbing agents for surgeries, pain relievers, and that which will promote healing, generally. I specialise more in the treatment of disease and the like, yet it is rather less practical to create such medicines without due cause.

With recent goings-on, I would not blame them should they refuse to speak to me out-right. However, I will try. They are in sore need of aid whether they are too proud to admit it or nay.

Those would be more than a little useful, I would think! May I have a decent supply of all of them? I will shortly be in La Llorana assisting some refugees, and they made need them, as well as the natives further North. Merida is scouting the region and has vowed to report the numbers in need of help forthwith.

That skill may yet be of tremendous use, Doctor. I would never discount it.

I do not charge any fee, sir. Those who have the funds to do so might donate some amount they see fit, of course, but as I see it, health is not a commodity to be sold.
