[ The locket opens on just Hermione's face; behind her there is nothing but a blank wall, at least until she turns. Then there's a small bookshelf, a series of vials and a cauldron before she sits down and refocuses the camera on her and nothing else. It takes her a moment to speak but she does - after taking a long, deep breath. ]

For anyone that doesn't know me, my name is Hermione Granger. We're about to enter a war and I don't think it's right that any of us enter entirely unprepared - there's only so much we can do, but I intend to do whatever I can to make sure that everyone is ready and as capable as they can be. 

[ Another deep breath and she turns, so that both her cauldrons are in sight. ]

I've been brewing potions for the last few days, as much as I can and as quickly as I can. I have things for cuts, scrapes, wounds, for loss of blood and for burns, anti-paralysis... I think you get the idea. I've got a lot of stock and I'm ready to give it to anyone who thinks they might need it before they go and fight. If you need it after then you know my name and how to contact me, right?

[ She looks troubled, still; war isn't something she is entirely comfortable with, even now, even with how familiar she is with it. ]

Just let me know if you want or need something and I can pop over and deliver it. And if you have, um, friends that might need it but can't read this? Let me know. I'm an equal opportunist potioneer, I promise. Thank you for your time.

I've been learning about different herbs and I've been grabbing them here and there to learn how to make things like poultices. You look like you're a lot more organized, I can run them over? Maybe if it's okay sort of linger and watch what you do? I can heal, but only by singing, I'm not good at potions or anything at all like that.

I'm not sure how much I can help, but I've been doing similar things. Wound wash and liniments, mostly, but I've also been making bandages. Perhaps we can assist each other? What herbs do you need?

[Indeed, Pod is down in the room she's commandeered for her efforts. A pot is currently steeping another batch of her wound wash, and she's carefully slicing linens into strips with her belt knife, before putting the strips into another boiling pot.]

[ She hms, looking over her stores. ] Lavender, snake fangs, thyme, rue, belladonna, fluxweed... Mostly herbs and flowers, to be honest.

[ if it hadn't been for the masks at the masquerade, clarisse would instantly recognize hermione as the girl she'd seen dancing with luke and after which made ... a few incredibly poor life choices. thankfully, she never actually saw hermione's face, so she's neither reminded of her irrational jealousy nor is she overly aggressive for no reason as she might have been otherwise. really dodged a bullet on that one, hermione. ]

[ for the most part, she's actually fairly polite. or as polite as clarisse can get, which is still a little sub-par in terms of overall friendliness. she doesn't question the fact that hermione called them potions because she's pretty much gotten used to the fact that there's a lot of magic bullshit going on in the drabwurld and, honestly, she'll take whatever she can get if someone's offering. ]

How much is "a lot"? [ she only asks because she could probably use "a lot" with the way her previous battles have gone — even more so if she's going to have a team with her. ]

[ Hermione is, of course, entirely unaware of Clarisse's feelings - and her, if she's being honest, but she's always happy to meet new people - and does little more than beam back at her, no matter how rude slash impolite she's being or how she toes the line of it. If she gets to help someone she's happy to do it, which is the most important aspect of the entire deal.

She glances back behind her at the vials and pauses, considering, before she turns back to the camera and focuses on Clarisse herself. ]

[ It's very clear that Reyna is not at Caer Glaem and is instead in a wooded area. She's not looking like she'll readily offer an explanation for that beyond that she's just there for a quest. She's waiting for something and happened to be looking through her locket when she found herself— intrigued by Hermione's message. She knows that it might be fine for her to use what these potions are but at the same time, she isn't entirely sure how effective they'd be on her.

But she knows how useful as they are regardless. ]

I'd be willing to help find some things. [ she pauses. ] But I don't exactly need the potions myself.

[ Hermione just nods her head; she's already used to the idea of people wanting more for their friends than just for themselves. Add that to people with healing capabilities and - well. She's prepared. ]
