[ The locket opens on just Hermione's face; behind her there is nothing but a blank wall, at least until she turns. Then there's a small bookshelf, a series of vials and a cauldron before she sits down and refocuses the camera on her and nothing else. It takes her a moment to speak but she does - after taking a long, deep breath. ]

For anyone that doesn't know me, my name is Hermione Granger. We're about to enter a war and I don't think it's right that any of us enter entirely unprepared - there's only so much we can do, but I intend to do whatever I can to make sure that everyone is ready and as capable as they can be.

[ Another deep breath and she turns, so that both her cauldrons are in sight. ]

I've been brewing potions for the last few days, as much as I can and as quickly as I can. I have things for cuts, scrapes, wounds, for loss of blood and for burns, anti-paralysis... I think you get the idea. I've got a lot of stock and I'm ready to give it to anyone who thinks they might need it before they go and fight. If you need it after then you know my name and how to contact me, right?

[ She looks troubled, still; war isn't something she is entirely comfortable with, even now, even with how familiar she is with it. ]

Just let me know if you want or need something and I can pop over and deliver it. And if you have, um, friends that might need it but can't read this? Let me know. I'm an equal opportunist potioneer, I promise. Thank you for your time.

We're... we're still waiting on Korra's trial. After that, we might go to someone's place near Daonna, or Parrais... Lethann was originally an option but. [ well, you know. ]

What I really need to figure out is a way for her to look less... like she wasn't human originally. A hat doesn't hide her eyes.

I'm, um. I'm a bit of a dab-hand at human transfiguration. I managed to give Ron a beard, once, and chance his face a little.

[ She pauses, thinking. ]

Maybe I could try and work some magic, make her a charm that changes how she looks? Only when she's wearing it, like - like a distraction?

... Is "dab-hand" a good thing or bad thing?

[ BECAUSE IF IT'S A BAD THING, SHOULD HE REALLY GIVE IT TO RIZHAO??? ]

[ he glances down, and adjusts the locket so hermione can better see rizhao sitting in his lap, playing with a stuffed bear and a wooden cup. she looks up, knowing the attention is shifting to her by some magical toddler dragon power, and smiles at the locket, reaching out as she sees hermione's face and saying "miney!" cheerfully. that gets mako laughing quietly, and he asks her if she wants hermione to give her a beard, like gramps' but better. rizhao takes a second to process it, and then remembering john's itchy face, makes a D8< face of her own. shit. sshit its too cute... fuck... ]

She doesn't want a beard anyway.

[ Oh. Oh. Miney. Hermione's expression flickers a little and she puts a hand to her mouth, trying to bite back the wide, ridiculous smile crossing her lips. Eventually, she manages to contain herself and swallows, her smile a little restrained; bursting into a giant grin would be ridiculous, right? Right.

No beard. I promise. Just normal eyes - anything else?

Her horns, and the scale patterns... [ his fingers brush against his own cheekbones in example, as rizhao takes up a mantra of "don't want don't want" in four nations beneath him, her hands on her unbeardy face. ] I think her hair's dark enough that people will think she's mine anyway, so that's fine.

[ HAAHA YEAH did we mention that people think she's his and korra's? ]

I'll see what I can do. I've never really enchanted anything like this before, but I'm sure I can figure it out. It's just a simple cloaking charm with a bit of transfiguration, it can't be that bad... [ She pauses to think about it, turning her head to grab a piece of paper. It wouldn't be real human transfiguration since it'd just be a charm, like disillusioning or making people not notice... She hums, almost absently. ] I could give her your eyes.

I'll take your word for it, dealer.

[ he gently pulls rizhao's hands off her cheeks and shushes her. ] And that's a good idea, too, if people don't know Bolin's my brother.

[ bolin has the green eyes, after all... ]

Dealer? [ Nose wrinkle. She doesn't like the sound of that and she huffs out a little noise. ] I'll get working on it right away.

[ have a little catlike smile, hermione. he's teasing u. ]
