[ thomas has not been a common presence on the network since his arrival to the drabwurld; gaining the ability to talk telepathically with the people who've been close to him have made it fairly easy for him to communicate without it. but this time, thomas addresses the network at large, although only with a (perhaps semi-familiar) voice.

he sounds uneasy. tired. ]


Do any of you have nightmares? How do you deal with them?

[ it's a stab at anonymity, mostly because he doesn't want to show his face, but the storms currently raging over head have not made his life any easier. thomas sleeps fitfully, twenty minutes at a time, wakes up screaming. no one's going to see his face as an effect of that. eventually, he tacks on a soft--]

No way -- did he? What a water head. ( all endearing said, of course, annabeth almost letting out a laugh in response, because it's very them. ) Yep, I'm his personal nightmare butt-kicker. Also known as Annabeth.

( it's nice to hear she's helping out some, though, because she knows what nightmare trauma looks like firsthand, and she wouldn't wish it on her worst enemies ( maybe hera, fine okay ), let alone someone from the opposite lines of the war, who's apparently friends with percy. at meditation? she lets out an mhm! nodding, though she has to bite back a textbook definition of it, trying to be a little bit more understanding. )

Yeah! Meditation is like... a relaxation of your body, I guess. The way everyone pictures it is sitting pretzel style, chanting some mantra over and over to help them focus. I've heard it can be really effective? It might be worth a shot, if you wanted to try.
