Now that the moon's back... [He sounds more perplexed than relieved. Moon rescues are definitely on his list of strange things he's not used to yet. Or probably ever.]

Well, looking how things usually are it occurs to me I'm probably not the only one from Beacon Hills here. Since my phone isn't working, this seemed like the best way to find out.

So if you're from Beacon Hills, or if you know anyone from Beacon Hills... tell them Sheriff Stilinski wants to talk to them. Although honestly I probably wouldn't turn down conversation with anyone from Earth.

[Not that there aren't other people from Earth. Just there are enough who aren't it kind of unnerves him a bit. Or quite a lot.]

[Hear that, sheriff? That's the beautiful sound of a stunned silence for a moment. Cherish it.]

What the hell are you doing here?! Oh my god... When did you get here?? Seriously? What the hell, dad. What the hell!?

[ thomas makes a habit of checking the network even on his short trip to quendi; you never know when someone from home could arrive, and he's constantly keeping an eye out for frypan or brenda (or newt, though he won't admit that much out loud.)

the familiar name--beacon hills--gets his attention, and he answers the feed with "video". malia had told him that stiles's dad was...a sheriff? so the connection's easy to make. ]

Are you his dad?

[ hello yes have a kid who looks literally exactly like your son. (only his hair is less stupid.) ]

[A sound he'll probably never get to hear again. Too bad he's too angry to appreciate it.]

What the hell am I doing here? What the hell are you doing here? Stiles, I swear to God if I have to handcuff you to a filing cabinet for a week to make my point this time then I'll do it.

I just get you back from Mexico and now you're here?!

[Thomas is lucky he didn't see this any sooner or he might have found himself on the receiving end of a rant from a very angry dad. Luckily since he's already seen Stiles the sheriff is stunned to silence.

Unless Stiles has suddenly become very adept at giving himself record fast hair cuts and really wants to drive his father to murder this is probably someone else. Only the last time anything like this happened... it didn't go so well.]

[ thomas goes for a sort of sympathetic look, holding up both of his hands. oops. maybe he should have prefaced that with a "sorry that i look like your kid" or something, but thomas is always ask questions first, explain yourself and them later. ] Uh--no. My name's Thomas.

[ a beat. ] Sorry. I sort of know Stiles, I guess. We look alike. [ muttered: ] Freakishly alike.

But--you got that already, I'm guessing.

[ NOBODY DISSES MINHO'S PERFECT HAIR HDU >:( ]

[IT'S THE EXACT SAME HAIR. YOU JUST DON'T LIKE SEEING HOW COOL YOU *COULD* BE, BUT AREN'T. >| ]

Six months. [He took a deep breath. Which... didn't work as well as he'd hoped. Still angry.] Stiles...

How the hell have you been here six months, where the hell are you, and why haven't I seen you yet?

[Dadinski might recognize this as his 'calm and rational totally an adult explaining things' voice.]

There's some weird time stuff here. They don't, ah, always seem to grab people from the same points in time? Like, Lydia's not really, ah, caught up. To where we are. Before she didn't know about Allison's... about Allison. Who was also here, by the way. So, rules don't really apply here, father of mine.

Yeah. I... I noticed that.

[What he'd like to know is why they look alike. He was there when Stiles was born so he knows he doesn't have any secret twins, which at this point he'd almost prefer to any other explanation he can think of.]

Please tell me you aren't a spirit, or a demon, or a... I don't know. Anything that's likely to try and kill anyone.

No, I'm just a regular person. [ he pulls a little bit of a face. ] There's nothing like werewolves or...coyotes or whatever where I'm from.

[ just cranks, and thomas is most certainly not a crank, considering. his only so far experience with these so called werewolves wasn't even a werewolf. it was a coyote. he's really given up on asking at this point.

but as for why they look alike, honestly, thomas'd like to know the answer to that question, too; his first thought was "clones", which, unlike werewolves, would not be completely unimaginable in the scorch. ] I know this is probably really confusing--believe me, it freaked me out when I saw him, too.

Allison isn't here now?

[If he didn't know what had happened to her then he'd have been glad she wasn't here, but since he did... he knew what she was going back to, and he knew it was far sooner than she deserved.]

No.

[Was that his eyes dropping? Yeah, maybe.]

She, ah, she left. A couple months ago. She... knew what had happened. It had already happened to her. They just... brought her here anyway somehow.

That's good to know. [Even if he's not 100% convinced he can buy that yet.]

Where exactly are you from?

[Obviously not Beacon Hills, but he knows all too well that not knowing about werewolves and coyotes doesn't meant they don't exist. He was unaware of them for years.]

Wait. They brought her here after?

Yeah.

[Wait...]

No, not like... not zombie Allison or anything like that. Like, she knew what had happened and she, ah... it just... she was alive again? They said it had something to do with the shards, so maybe she got brought here after she died? I have no idea how this thing works, dad.

Given all the other options, there's actually a surprising number of people here from earth.

[ Harry shrugs and does his best to look disarming. The fact that a goodly portion of one side of his face is covered in fine, silvery looking scars and one eye has been replaced with a red amber sphere might detract from that a bit. ]

I don't know. [ he shrugs his shoulders. thomas's first answer was "WICKED", second, "the Glade", and it makes his stomach churn a little to think that a part of him was still that well trained to think WICKED first. ] I do, I guess--maybe somewhere in the US? Everything's been destroyed--the world's ending. I'd just gotten to some kind of immune Paradise, and then I came here.

[ that probably makes literally zero sense, and thomas realizes that--he could have been ten times worse, describing cranks and munies and sun flares and everything else, but he just kind of pauses and adds, as if that would explain anything. ] All of my memories were wiped six months or so ago.

Well, if you don't then I'm completely lost.

You said Lydia's here too?

[ His hairstyle is literally the same as your hairstyle Stiles you're drunk, stop. ]

[Stiles isn't allowed to drink with dad around. No more fun ever.]
