Now that the moon's back... [He sounds more perplexed than relieved. Moon rescues are definitely on his list of strange things he's not used to yet. Or probably ever.]

Well, looking how things usually are it occurs to me I'm probably not the only one from Beacon Hills here. Since my phone isn't working, this seemed like the best way to find out.

So if you're from Beacon Hills, or if you know anyone from Beacon Hills... tell them Sheriff Stilinski wants to talk to them. Although honestly I probably wouldn't turn down conversation with anyone from Earth.

[Not that there aren't other people from Earth. Just there are enough who aren't it kind of unnerves him a bit. Or quite a lot.]

[Thomas is lucky he didn't see this any sooner or he might have found himself on the receiving end of a rant from a very angry dad. Luckily since he's already seen Stiles the sheriff is stunned to silence.

Unless Stiles has suddenly become very adept at giving himself record fast hair cuts and really wants to drive his father to murder this is probably someone else. Only the last time anything like this happened... it didn't go so well.]

You're not Stiles.

[See, he's not the sheriff for nothing. Look at those solving skills he has.]

[ thomas goes for a sort of sympathetic look, holding up both of his hands. oops. maybe he should have prefaced that with a "sorry that i look like your kid" or something, but thomas is always ask questions first, explain yourself and them later. ] Uh--no. My name's Thomas.

[ a beat. ] Sorry. I sort of know Stiles, I guess. We look alike. [ muttered: ] Freakishly alike.

But--you got that already, I'm guessing.

Yeah. I... I noticed that.

[What he'd like to know is why they look alike. He was there when Stiles was born so he knows he doesn't have any secret twins, which at this point he'd almost prefer to any other explanation he can think of.]

Please tell me you aren't a spirit, or a demon, or a... I don't know. Anything that's likely to try and kill anyone.

No, I'm just a regular person. [ he pulls a little bit of a face. ] There's nothing like werewolves or...coyotes or whatever where I'm from.

[ just cranks, and thomas is most certainly not a crank, considering. his only so far experience with these so called werewolves wasn't even a werewolf. it was a coyote. he's really given up on asking at this point.

but as for why they look alike, honestly, thomas'd like to know the answer to that question, too; his first thought was "clones", which, unlike werewolves, would not be completely unimaginable in the scorch. ] I know this is probably really confusing--believe me, it freaked me out when I saw him, too.

That's good to know. [Even if he's not 100% convinced he can buy that yet.]

Where exactly are you from?

[Obviously not Beacon Hills, but he knows all too well that not knowing about werewolves and coyotes doesn't meant they don't exist. He was unaware of them for years.]

I don't know. [ he shrugs his shoulders. thomas's first answer was "WICKED", second, "the Glade", and it makes his stomach churn a little to think that a part of him was still that well trained to think WICKED first. ] I do, I guess--maybe somewhere in the US? Everything's been destroyed--the world's ending. I'd just gotten to some kind of immune Paradise, and then I came here.

[ that probably makes literally zero sense, and thomas realizes that--he could have been ten times worse, describing cranks and munies and sun flares and everything else, but he just kind of pauses and adds, as if that would explain anything. ] All of my memories were wiped six months or so ago.

All of them?

[He was listening, Thomas. Really. He was.]

Everything except my name, yes.

[ though it's not even really thomas's name. that's okay, sheriff--it's kind of a spiel. thomas knows that much. ] But, I do know I can't have been involved with your son or you in any way, if that makes you feel any better.

Can you really be sure of that if you don't have any memories? How do you know that's even your name if you can't remember anything else?

It's not my name, it's--[ he sighs. what's he supposed to say? "nah, it's cool, the evil overlord organization gave me the name and I don't know anything else but I claimed it as mine anyway?" ] --Complicated.

Look, people here come from different worlds. Beacon Hills, that's what your son said it was called? In my world, it'd be completely destroyed, either by the solar flare or by the Cranks. [ thomas is not the most patient guy in the world, but--it was confusing for him the first time too. he'll try. ] The fact that you don't know what either of those are is evidence enough.

Besides--it's not like I don't remember what happened before I came here. My memories were swiped when I came to the glade, not when I came to the Drabwurld.
