[A scream begins this video, but all that follows is the sound of covers being shifted and someone walking, unsteadily, closer to the locket. Vanyel's face comes into view, his features washed out against his black hair.]

I must have... [His voice is hoarse, nearly cracking.] I am Gifted with Foresight. It has been...unreliable...since my arrival. Yet...

I fear what I see when I close my eyes. I fear what the fairies and imps say to us.

What becomes of this world may not matter, but what of our worlds?

[A shiver skates down his back and he clenches his teeth.]

Their magic could be interfering with my own. I pray that is the case. Otherwise...

[He glances over his shoulder before closing his eyes, pained.]

We deserve to see the future.

The Oracle is blessed by Apollo, I think, [ Leo explains vaguely, unsure on how to elaborate. ] He gives her the gift of prophecy, and then she… you know, doles out prophecies like Halloween candy. Rachel’s here, so she could tell you more about it than I could.

[ ...Oh. Well, that doesn’t sound good. ] Lands beyond this one? You mean where we’re originally from?

And Apollo is...? [A deity?] Perhaps I should speak with her. Do you know her full name?

[He closes his eyes tiredly.] Lands I do not recognize. They could indeed be the original homes of some of us.

A god. Of the sun and prophecy, music and healing... a lot of things. Her name is Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

[ Great. That's just fantastic. Just what they need. ]

And there's nothing we can do about it from here. [ If he could, he'd find a way to build something. But that take figuring out how to make that work, or how to get it back to whatever world is being "ravaged". He'd have to start at the Station. ]

A god to be admired. [He nods and makes a mental note of the name.] No and therein lies the problem.

[Rubbing a hand over his face tiredly, he shakes his head.]

We focus on what we can change - otherwise we will drive one another mad.

[ He’s heard stories, okay? Enough to make Leo hope he doesn’t have to meet the god, ever.

He can’t say he doesn’t appreciate the healing part, though. ]

We could always focus on trying to find a way to get back.

I don't mind them. [Though he is a little confused by the reference.] It's hard to focus on vague outcomes. I don't even know the first step to returning.

Well, there you go! That’s the first step - finding out what the first step is.

People have gone home before, right? Maybe we just ask around to figure out how they did it.

I don't think they did it intentionally.

But they did it! Which means we can still find out how.
