[A scream begins this video, but all that follows is the sound of covers being shifted and someone walking, unsteadily, closer to the locket. Vanyel's face comes into view, his features washed out against his black hair.]

I must have... [His voice is hoarse, nearly cracking.] I am Gifted with Foresight. It has been...unreliable...since my arrival. Yet...

I fear what I see when I close my eyes. I fear what the fairies and imps say to us.

What becomes of this world may not matter, but what of our worlds?

[A shiver skates down his back and he clenches his teeth.]

Their magic could be interfering with my own. I pray that is the case. Otherwise...

[He glances over his shoulder before closing his eyes, pained.]

We deserve to see the future.

What did you see?

[Interesting. She'll have to ask Bran what he sees once he's a bit more adjusted.]

Do you see your home?

Van? Gods, are you alright?

Blood and battle. Ruins and worlds I didn't recognize. [They could be apart of Drabworld...or not. The images are confusing and jumbled and not at all comforting.] I wouldn't rely on it. We can only prepare for what we know with certainty.

[It's likely he will experience difficulties too. Vanyel empathizes.]

No. I see...other homes.

I don't have any control over what I see. [In their world, his Foresight isn't particularly reliable; he can't use it on command, but it does show him things he needs to know sometimes.] The images flash through my mind and I can't find any connection.

We don't know much for certain.

Vanyel? [ Maglor looks... worlds better - it is amazing what the steadying presence of his eldest brother will do ]

What have you seen?

[ Foresight is a heavy burden, Maglor knows. His mother is farsighted, his cousin the same... and no one ever did work out how much Caranthir knew. Maglor himself has no visions, no knowing... but one who hears the Song is always more aware of its currents ]

[Sigh. More magic that he can't do anything about.]

Let me guess. Nothing good, either.

Can I ask what you see? [It's grave enough to hear this. Her brow furrows, and she fears more for Bran now.]

That troubles me. I can't even discover how to right that problem. [It's humbling how little his powers aid him in the Drabworld.]

I see the battle traveling beyond these lands. [When, why or how is beyond him. He isn't even sure if it's possible.]

[This pause is way too long.]

Maglor? [His grey eyes fix on the locket and he, very briefly, smiles in relief.] You look stronger.

[Swallowing, he leans his forehead against the cool stone wall.]

The war bleeding from these lands and entering others. Perhaps our own.

Always. Where are you?

At the end of the corridor. I'll come back to you. [He feels guilty about worrying him, but where else will he go? Besides, he's freezing.]

Do I? [ Maglor shoots a fond look over his shoulder where Vanyel might just see a glimpse of red hair before Maedhros moves out of view from where he had been leaning over in interest ] I suppose I have found a good reason to fight.

[ Worried eyes scan him ]

Now tis my turn to worry over you. Have you had any training in foresight? You might ask for the Lady Galadriel for aid - her gift is strong, and she has had it since childhood. [ quieter] You do not bring any news we did not already fear, and the future is not yet set in stone. But the warning is timely and I thank you for it.

I can't give advice on how to learn things via magic, unfortunately.

I know some visions aren't entirely-- defined. [That is context given.] --But can it be stopped?

[Now, this is interesting. And cryptic. If she sounds like that all the time, no wonder it's such a hassle to get anyone to listen to her.]

[Rather than voice his gratitude, Vanyel shuts the locket and walks to Stefen's side so that he can embrace the Bard in person. His body is cold and his face is pale, but all it takes is one touch to help him begin to relax.]

I wish I could dream only of you.

Magic does not solve every problem. In fact, it makes more problems than it solves.

I do not know. [There are so many paths the future could take.] I only see one outcome, but there are many more depending on our actions.
