[There's some hesitation at first, unsure if the locket is working, but with a small sound from the imp beside her, she adjusts. The image is no longer one of the stars and boughs of the trees overhead but resting on the face of a weary elf. A weight had been lifted off of her with her arrival, though the chill still remained - seeming to radiate from within.]
Mae govannen [(Well met)], these creatures informed me I am in the Drabwurld just beyond the Unseelie castle. They do not seem to be able to tell me how I might return home. It is imperative that I do not linger here, my father will worry.
[Among others, though he would be first to notice her absence. It could be a terrible distraction from the war, causing worry when it was unnecessary - even cause a horrible loss. That could not happen - no on her account.]
Goheno nin [(Forgive me)], but I must return to Imladris at once. You seem to have powerful enough magic to bring me to your world, surely it could not be such a hardship to return me home. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
[And with that the locket closes, uneasy eyes searching the forests for an unseen danger - far too accustomed to things like orcs roaming in the night. The sooner she could be returned home, the better.]

[It was intriguing, though not unheard of. She must have a good ear if she hadn't heard much of it. Something that could assist her in picking it up faster.]
Thank you for your welcome, though I fear it is not one that I wish for. The circumstances...
[She shakes her head. Her presence here seemed to be both a blessing and a curse. Being able to see many that she never would have the chance to see again - others she'd only learned of from tales and history books.]
video.
[ She doesn't want to be the human that goes to far, no matter how fond Legolas and Thranduil might be of her. She hardly wants to push her luck.
Her expression softens a little, though, and she leans forward. ]
I know, it's hard. But we have to make the best of it. Is there anything I can do?

[Some reunions that had already been delayed, including one such reunion with her beloved. One that was long overdue.]
One of my kin is coming to my assistance.
[Her voice softens slightly, using a nick name that was usually used for her.]
What is your name pinig?
video.
[ At least she has someone coming to her side. When Hermione woke up here it had just been here, alone, and it had been disconcerting to say the least. She was better, now, having friends old and new, but it can't be easy. No matter what.
The nickname doesn't mean much, yet, but it makes her smile all the same. ]
I'm Hermione Granger. It's very nice to meet you.
video.
[She keeps her tone gentle, not only for the girl's sake - her own energy waning.]
So you have spoken to both Legolas and Lord Thranduil? Any other elves?
[Perhaps her mother and grandmother?]
video.
[ And Hermione hopes that the person she's waiting for comes to see Arwen soon. ]
I travel with Legolas, actually. I've sort-of adopted him? But I've also spoken to Galadriel and Nerdanel.
video.
Both Galadriel and Nerdanel are my kin. Galadriel is my grandmother.
[Nerdanel is more complex to describe, something she would rather attempt to explain in person.]
video.
[ And now Hermione goes a little pink. ]
I - I mean, um. Was that rude?
video.
[She gives a reassuring smile.]
How old do you believe me to be?
video.
Oh, um. I'm not sure - you don't look that much older than Legolas, really.
video.
I am just over 2,770 years old.
[She had over a thousand years on Legolas, but she wasn't about to add that.]
video.
[ ... And she's barely scratching 21. Wow. ]
video.
Thank you. If you are truly interested in learning Elvish, I would be more than happy to assist in teaching you Sindarin as my Quenya is not as strong.
[And she would say with her years behind her, she's more than qualified.]
video.
[ And she really does look a little -- well. Awed. ]
video.
[Especially after she's been to the station.]
And it would be my pleasure. 'Tis a beautiful language.
[One that could die in her lands with the departure of her people.]
video.
[ Her smile is brighter and she nods. ]
I'd be happy to share anything I have with you.
video.
[She would be very interested in seeing any books from her realm as well, magic not something she's ever truly been skilled in wielding.]

video.
[It would be an enjoyable way to pass the time as she regained her strength.]
