[Ganondorf is not usually a man to speak at length or to make messages on the lockets. But in light of recent developments and his aims to begin working against a tedious rival, it is time to begin gathering forces to him. He's built himself a sizable army already. Now he needs shardholders to stand with him. He has come to understand that each one of them might potentially be as valuable as a hundred native soldiers.]

With the passing of my sixth month, a fourth collection of Shardholders has been drawn into this world. The war carries on, though fate would seem to favor the side of our monarchs. [Absent as they might be...]

I am Ganondorf Dragmire. In my own land, I was the King of the Gerudo and of Hyrule. Until I return there, I am presently the Lord of Mair. My keep and city was won by conquest and much work has been done to rebuild and improve upon it. There are those among our court who helped to win and those who have labored to restore it. I have arranged quarters be provided for each one of you. You will always find Mair a safe haven as repayment for your efforts.

To those other Unseelie sharded, I extend my welcome to come visit the city. You need not travel the long road here. The High Queen has provided a Fairy Ring to the outside of the city. The land here is rich and bountiful so much that the people idle their time away in gambling houses and taverns. No doubt most will find some manner of entertainment within the city. [Says a man who clearly doesn't go out of his way for entertainment.]

Furthermore to those who wish to press the battle and see this war ended, then I welcome you to fight beneath my banner. Those who serve me will not go unrewarded. We stand on the cusp of victory. Already we have claimed powerful allies from Redgate and Maupertius. [Though he is eager to be rid of the latter...] We may have lost one battle at Cothromach, but we have slain their dragon and given our Seelie counterparts pause to reconsider their allegiance. Once the Seelie monarchs have been taken from their throne, we will at long last be able to return to our rightful homes.

So whatever dragons are here get tortured and forced to participate in this pointless war. Fantastic.

[ More than that, he's thoroughly irked he's been lied to or deliberately fed the wrong information; that there aren't just two dragons around the Drabwurld as he was told, not that he really believed that to begin with (and those are probably being served up for warfare, too), and louts like this are swaggering around thinking there's some kind of glory in winning battles for the fair folk. This is so stupid.

So who was it that freed this 'mindless beast'? I'd like to hear what they have to say.

There are no other dragons here. None native to this land, at least. That was the last of them.

[Or is as far as he knows. It does not trouble him in any case. Dragons are not uncommon in Hyrule and that is the only land of consequence. But although this boy is tedious in his self righteous anger, Ganondorf remains patient. Though there is an edge in his voice.]

Yeah, that seems to be a running theme every time one of them happens to pop up, apparently.

Who killed it?

There were many who struck blows against it. I am among that number. But no one landed a wound upon it more serious than Lady Alyosha herself. She is no longer alive to ask, but you might consider looking to the library to learn what she lost to that beast.

They're not beasts, not like all of you believe. And I'll be sure to do that as well as find out from this Korra why she felt it wasn't enough of a threat against herself to free it.

[ Because bullshit is flying from all sides and the truth feels like groping at pebbles in a bog, at this point. Covering all possible bases isn't so much common-sense as direly necessary. ]

Do not be so naive, boy, and do not presume to know what we believe. You may ultimately choose to not take part in this war, but it will happen with or without you. Regardless of what that dragon may have been, it's death is a boon for us all. Call it tragic if you will, but its death prevented a far greater one.

[Indeed, Ganondorf had accepted this mission in hopes of taming that same dragon. He did not feel sympathy for the creature, but it certainly seemed a waste to slay so mighty a creature.]

Are you listening to yourself? You're fighting for creatures known for their trickery. These are the things that lurk under your bed that you're warned about trusting as a child, for Thor's sake, and here you are acting like we're all going to be written into a poetic edda just for saying 'How high?' when they bark 'Jump'.

Y'know what? Ignore me, you probably will, you're too busy to listen to somebody who makes sense. Why would you do that? You've got epic deeds to get to, don't let me hold you up.

[Ganondorf smiles thinly, if only for the irony at a boy who wishes to preach the virtues of dragons in one breath and condemn the creatures of shadows in the next. But there is little reason to carry on the conversation. There are more important things to do than win the unwinnable.]
