[ Han is still staring at the ‘screen’ of the locket like this is the most ridiculous piece of tech he has seen in his entire life. Still, his voice is confident, and beyond the general expression of disgusted disbelief, there are hints of worry in the way his lips thin. ]
So, apparently, there are no space-ready or functional craft, and even if there were, there is no telling where in the Galaxy we even are. [ Assuming, of course, they would be in the galaxy that Han knows. Which he is beginning to suspect is not the case. ]
So here’s a better question… What’s the best craft available for transport, and what… business is there, to be doing.
[ Chewie’s not here, the kid’s not here, Leia’s not here, his blaster doesn’t work. Hell, he’d even take old Kenobi or even Greedo over most of this crowd. Better the devil he knows.
And, all right, he kinda breaks at this and has to ask. ]
Also, honestly, how do so many of you folks not know that light has a speed, and space travel is not difficult. Really.
[And all this magic bs can't be real. Hell, these people are worse than Kenobi's Force mumbo jumbo ]

[ Han feels shifty and uncomfortable, though he hides it very well under large nonchalance. But, those tight lips of concern from the first message broadcast have made their subtle return. Still, his voice is even, just shy of casual. ]
I've heard of some things. A little history. [ Been on a device capable of obliterating a planet and find that planet's remains. Tie that in with some spacer-rumors of 4,000 year-old history about a certain Cron Drift... that used to be the Cron Cluster of stars... ]
It's not unbelieveable.

[She breathes, slowly.]
To be honest, this has been eating me for a while.

It's mostly just hearsay. Nothing remotely magical. [ Liar ] Just... if you ever do manage to start travelling the cosmos of these parts, be careful.
[ He won't talk about it. He can't, really. It has only recently sunken in to him, speaking with Javik, about the fact that Alderaan... A Core world, a founding member of the Galactic Republic, and one of the few worlds Han will admit is—was—objectively a beautiful world, gone, and millions of lives with it.
And given that most things around here aren't even capable of puddle-jumps, he isn't all that worried about another Death Star or similar super-weapon popping up anywhere. ]

[Well, she can't say she didn't expect this possibility, even if it is disappointing, but her voice is gentle and sincere as she says it.]
Well, if it's not magical at all then it might be safe to say they're not related incidents. What happened was like a fa--story. [She holds her thumb and forefinger up.] Like when you hold your hand to the sky when there's a full, bright moon and try to pluck it as though it were a coin. Except you actually could, more or less.

That, I'll admit, is a little out of my experience pool. Sounds like a child's game.
