[ Han is still staring at the ‘screen’ of the locket like this is the most ridiculous piece of tech he has seen in his entire life. Still, his voice is confident, and beyond the general expression of disgusted disbelief, there are hints of worry in the way his lips thin. ]
So, apparently, there are no space-ready or functional craft, and even if there were, there is no telling where in the Galaxy we even are. [ Assuming, of course, they would be in the galaxy that Han knows. Which he is beginning to suspect is not the case. ]
So here’s a better question… What’s the best craft available for transport, and what… business is there, to be doing.
[ Chewie’s not here, the kid’s not here, Leia’s not here, his blaster doesn’t work. Hell, he’d even take old Kenobi or even Greedo over most of this crowd. Better the devil he knows.
And, all right, he kinda breaks at this and has to ask. ]
Also, honestly, how do so many of you folks not know that light has a speed, and space travel is not difficult. Really.
[And all this magic bs can't be real. Hell, these people are worse than Kenobi's Force mumbo jumbo ]

[ Really, though, he'd probably volunteer his help even if there wasn't. As long as it'd be something different from what he'd had to do for work in Skyrim, whether it was going after bandits, or hunting for stolen heirlooms, or stealing those heirlooms to begin with...
Surely this work couldn't be so dangerous or illicit as all of that, right? Surely... ]

[ He'll pay a flat rate, sure, but he's also down for cutting deals for percentages. Percentages tend to be more profitable anyhow, and people are more motivated to do a good job if their payout depends on it. There is also comission work... plenty of choices. ]
Right now I'm just sort of trying to get a feel for the market; what sort of things people are desperate to get their hands on and the like. I'm a bit of a specialist, that way.
[ Totally entirely above board, just smuggling. and running. and shooting problems before they become problems. and possibly the occasional pirating. On the other hand, cutting your losses and running is a totally acceptable and admired smuggler trait. ]

[ The experience sounds promising, and not in the least bit suspicious. Really, though, just about any line of work that didn't involve combat by necessity sounds far more than promising to him by now. ]
J'sairr wishes you luck in your endeavors. And, if the market is to your liking, this one will gladly assist.

It was a good meeting.
