There's a moment where he seems quite anxious, as if he's unable to speak, but as he pulls back, it passes fast, a notable smile blooming suddenly on his face. The video shakes from his apparent bouncing, peering into the locket with nervous excitement.]

Hello! The name's Jack Frost, and if you can hear me, if you can see me—I really hope you can see me—please say something, anything, really.

[Fifteen years and he's only ever spoken to another spirit or two. Oh, how he longs for conversation! To be able to hear responses to questions, laughter towards his jokes, anything to let him know that he's heard, that he's seen.

He lifts a hand, hesitating for a beat before a small wave of frost lifts from his finger tips and he blows it forward. A hearty laugh soon follows, quite pleased with the act.]

I don't know much about what's going on out there, but I've got a huge stash of ammo for the best snowball fight you'll experience in ages. Heck, we can even go ice skating or sledding! We'll slide down hills or even mountains of snow. Anything goes.

[His smile grows ever wider with talk of his plans, a slight excited laugh escaping him as he continues to gaze with delight.] Look, wherever you are, it doesn't matter—I can get you one of the best snow days of your life. You'll have a blast. I promise.

[ Alice is very child-like, especially how she reacts to this, lighting up instantly. She gets fairly animated when excited. ]

Father Christmas! He brings toys for children, especially the ones who never can have toys! But it is when you become older that he isn't as prevalent as he was when you were child.

Oh, I know what Christmas is. Trust me, I've been trying to sneak into that guy's place for quite some time. The yetis are too much of a hassle though.

[They do make for some good bodyguards though.]

But I mean ... I doubt I'm in the same boat as him. Kids never saw me at all.

Well, just because you weren't visible, doesn't make you real!

[ wait wait wait Alice jumps in her seat. ]

Do you mean to say he's real?!

Of course he's real. Everyone gets all hyped when it comes to that big guy.

[ She's smiling. It's a big deal when she's smiling, an actual happy smile on her pale face. ]

Why wouldn't anyone?! Those are old stories from a wonderful time in one's life. A childhood is so important and it is wonderful to hear- and amazing to see - those things are real! That means there is still hope and imagination, no matter how terrible things have become.

[Her explanation on things surprises him. Hope. It's an interesting word, something he's tried to hold on to for a long time despite being invisible. It's the sort of thing he often felt when he spotted the Sandman's golden sand spreading through the sky at night, protecting children's dreams.]

Yeah, that's ... that's a good point. [There's a sigh, but a smile comes soon afterwards.] It's good. That you still believe in all of that.

[ Of course, Alice Liddell feels passionate about the imagination and creative, being that it pulled her through the worst times of her life. ]

Of course I do, they've done good for me, even as an adult.

[ Even if she doesn't look like one. ]

It's good to remember them.

You know, more people should think like you. I think there's too many people who are failing to believe in things lately. Too much growing up going on.

I know. Sometimes terrible things happen and children grow up too quickly. It's quite distressing.

[Jack thinks about it for a moment before he throws on a smirk.]

I have the sinking feeling that you will! After all, what good is a childhood story without renewing those feelings?

Right. It's pretty general right now, but I think that'll be a nice job description for me for a bit. Needs a title, though. Childhood Fun Reviver sounds pretty awful.

Admittedly, I will have to think that over to pick a suitable one for you.
