[ At first the feed is silent, just showing a small grassy plain. Then, suddenly, there's a quiet little yip and something pops into view -- a puppy, looking more than a little excited, with wings fluttering around it's little body as it moves, barking at the camera (or, rather, who is behind the camera). Eventually it moves, with a scuffling noise, and Hermione's face pops into view, at least until she is mauled by the dog licking at her and clambering to get into her lap. She accepts it with good grace, of course, just laughing and patting at the lovely thing's head. ]

I was given this lovely boy by the faeries today and I have no idea who it's from - it must be a gift because I didn't ask for him, at least not this time. I wanted to say thank you to whoever it was because he's adorable! He's the cutest thing I've ever seen - and I've decided to call him Padfoot.

[ She knows Harry and Ron will understand and she hopes neither of them will be put off by the nickname. She moves to shut off the feed even as the puppy goes to try and bite at the chain holding the locket in her fingertips. ]

Padfoot, no ---

I was given my boon by the faeries and - it's incredible. They've given me a book that'll teach me how to make my own network, like the lockets but only for us to use. I was wondering if you'd all tell me what kind of thing you'd want, if you want a personal network for anyone or just for you and some friends? And what you'd like it on - a watch or a necklace or something? Let me know, please?

[ He- Hesitates, just a bit. Less because he doesn't want to tell her, and more that he finds he pays more attention than he probably should to how Nico is. ]

He's- Alright. I think? I mean, he's a lot better here than in comparison to how he was where we come from. He's closer to people here, has more friends. And yeah, he's sleeping, which- This is going to sound weird, but it's nice to see.

Good, that's good. I've been worried but with how busy things are... [ She shakes her head. ] Make sure he knows that I'm here, if he needs anything? [ eg; more potions. ]

I think it helps him to have something to do, like being on our quest. Staying stagnant is hard for demigods. [ Still, he nods. ] He knows, but I'll make sure to remind him.

I can only imagine. I know a few of you and it sounds like an itch. [ Though Luke seems quite happy, but... Maybe he's on a quest too? ] Good. Do you need anything, the rest of you?

Sort of. I think all of us are so used to doing things back home, that just sitting around and not being proactive doesn't sit well with us.

Uh- [ A beat. ] You.. help Nico with being able to sleep?

Oh, that I can understand. It was non-stop for seven years and just sitting around a castle doing nothing? I couldn't bear it.

[ She blinks before she smiles softly. ]

Yes. I make potions.

Seven? That's... wow. It's been five, for me. For most of us from my world. I can't even imagine having a normal life now, which I guess is kinda sad.

Oh, really? That's really cool. Can everyone from your world do stuff like that?

I'm not entirely sure what things are going to be like when we get home. Normal seems like a rather foreign concept now. I mean, more than just going to a school for magic.

[ Because that's not 'normal', really, is it? At least not in her muggleborn ideas of normalcy. ]

If they're taught, yes, and it's a standard class at my school.

School for magic? That's actually way more than cool, that's awesome. I mean, coming from someone who goes to a demigod summer camp, going to school for magic sounds pretty incredible.

[ nevermind normal, okay, schools for magic is where it's at. ]

It is rather incredible. It's called Hogwarts and... Well, I actually really miss it.

I know the feeling. I haven't been back to camp in almost a year and I miss it, too. And if I went to a magical school, I'm pretty sure I'd definitely miss it.

[ even if, knowing his track record, he'd get kicked out immediately. ]
