[ Minho has been spending most of his time in the Drabwurld just sort of... observing and exploring. Because he's been working to make a better map for the arrivals to use, and has been trying to figure out what would be the best way to go about sharing it. Would something over this weird network work? Who knows.

But he's gotten a little distracted by the whole feathers thing, and has been having a time of figuring them out. He appears on the feed for both courts with one of the little feathers pinched between thumb and forefinger, turning it back and forth. ]

So, before I came here, there wasn't any such thing as magic. It was all science, no... powers, or whatever. [ Thomas and Teresa's telepathy aside, considering that was science, too. ] Gotta say, this's pretty interesting.

[ Except then there's a distressed bleating - behhh! - and Minho snorts abruptly, sticking the feather behind his ear and reaching down out of the amulet's view to pick up... well, what looks like a small deer. ] Except for the part where a certain someone hasn't figured out how to turn back into a person, but y'know. Jeez, greenie...

[ But he turns his attention back to the world at large, nestling the fawn in his muscled arms. ] Anyways. The feathers are literally, like, everywhere. But has anyone figured out what all they do, or found anything else while picking 'em up? Like new places or some klunk.

[ He shifts the deer around a bit, trying to locate it once again. He has his own, at least. ]

He... might've eaten the shuck thing.

Not really. [ There's a little jostling, but it's only so he can shrug. ]

Dealt with worse that's less magically inclined, though.

[ this is not what thomas was planning on happening, okay! he was just. exploring. he was just really curious about the dumb feathers and what they did, and he'd picked it up a little too close to his dinner and, boom. thomas, plus feather, equals tiny, unhappy deer. it took him ten minutes to stand up on his tiny deer legs and he continued to flop over on the ground on his stomach, limbs splayed out, and thomas felt utterly too much like when he'd just come out of the box and way too much like a deer. so he'd given into letting minho carry him, and he flops his legs over his huge arms, making an unhappy, pathetic "behhhh" noise and butting his head into minho's bicep. life is hard. ]

[ Thomas really, you should know better by now than to touch things. But, no, that lesson was never one that was taught to their fearless co-leader, and Minho just looks down at him in fond exasperation as he makes a pathetic noise up at him again. ]

Yeah, yeah. Poor little shank, doesn't know what to do with himself.

[ He scratches blunt fingernails against his forehead, shaking his head slowly. ] Sorta fittin', though.

[ shhhh like minho can even talk thomas huffs--that motion at least comes through as a deer--and tucks his head into his arm, like he's hiding his face. he feels like an idiot and mostly he just feels this really weird, insatiable urge to eat grass. at least the scratches are nice. but he makes an offended noise and jerks his head up to look at him, because it is not fitting! ]

[ Minho is not the deer, thank you.

Angling his head down to look at Thomas while he hides in his bicep, he pets his head carefully when he jerks up to sulk visibly at him. ]

Is too. With them big ol' doe eyes of yours. [ He didn't even need him to speak to know what that look was for. He knows Thomas so well now. ]

No way, did he seriously-?

[ this is the tone of someone that's both shocked and maybe a little amused, like thomas would purposely turn himself into an animal before he knew how the change back. ]

I leave you two alone for five minutes, and this is what you-

[ BOYS!!! and yeah it's been longer than five minutes, she's exploring, out on her own ( just around the castle, let's be real she's not about to go very far without Thomas ). but. ]

I'm coming back.

[arms]

[ Minho just. Cradles Thomas in one arm, gesturing down at him with his now freed hand. Yes, he did seriously do the thing, Teresa. ]

I had no part in this! I looked away for a second and all of a sudden he gets the bright shucking idea to do something without knowing how to fix it.

[ Or, y'know. How to change back. Yeah, this is their greenbean. ]

We ain't moving.

So, the feather did that?

[ and now she's wondering about the feather that she found, one that she definitely held for a while, but- ]

I wonder why mine didn't. It's not like mine looked much different than Thomas'.

--Although now I'm a little reluctant to touch it again.

[effy's never met minho, but after looking at the other conversations, she can guess that what he's got in his arms is actually thomas.

which is hilarious. but she's more interested in his way of speech.]

[ It's not antagonistic or anything, just one question for another. Minho knows from talking to Stiles that it's slang, but it seems like he's not the only one that uses it.

He's also kind of taken off guard by the fact this girl looks like Teresa while obviously being not. A different look in her eyes, maybe. ]

Wait, is that- That was a person?

[ Suddenly, Percy is really glad he the feather he found didn't do anything like that. The last thing he needs is to turn into an animal while out on a quest. ]

[ the "behhhh!!" that comes out of his mouth is supposed to be "Percy!" or "stop looking!" or something of both--thomas the deer freaks out and tries to squirm out of minho's arms and hide his face in minho's runner's harness at the same time. thomas?!? what? who's thomas! he's just a deer! just a completely normal deer!]

[ Minho gives Thomas an exasperated look as he flails around in his arms, holding him close and adjusting how he holds him so that he can hide. His biceps flex a little, and he lifts him up so that he's nestled against his shoulder and can hide in his neck. ]

This was a person. Is, a person. We'll figure it out and fix him, but yeah.

I'm sort of going on a hunch here, but I think some of the feathers might turn you into woodland creatures.

Yeah that's a bit of a problem we've come across. The one I've got had me shooting fireballs but I've decided to just stop touching it anymore.

[ Thomas "can't keep his nose out of anything" Edison. ]

I nearly set a few trees on fire while holding one. [And a dwarf turned wolf.] But I haven't heard of anyone discovering a new area or... klunk, is it?

Yeah, I did the same thing with mine. [ He offers the slightest nod, hefting up the fawn. Because Thomas isn't exactly anything fierce like a wolf, he's less inclined to put him down. ]

Ah - klunk. Stuff. I'm making a more detailed map, 'cause the one we've got isn't very helpful as far as information goes. Figured I'd ask if anything interesting had come up while people found the feathers.

Well I'm sorry I can't help you more with that, but a more extensive map of these lands would certainly be very beneficial. How far have you traveled if I may inquire?
