It's a shame what happened at Maupertius, and I am still unsure how to move ahead from it. But for those who wondered, I am both safe and have left the area.

[To which she pauses, an air of something grave in her tone.] I've been asked to sit in place for my liege lord. The idea isn't foreign to me, my own father is a lord back home. [The Neck isn't taken that seriously by anyone outside of it though.]

I seek information for any that have acquired land here. I understand the war, perhaps more now that I have seen what it can do up close, but I ask to know more of what is happening for the people here. I'd wish to do well by them. [In Westeros her people seem to be the more 'out there' type, however they also have more answers to what is going on. Here though, Meera struggles constantly with what to do.]

Aye, they've some war machines here the like of which I've never seen: I would know the length of the walls within the place, and have a count spots best seen to mount canons about its entrances... [He seems to remember himself, then.] I have heard tell that Greywater Watch has no such traditional defenses, but would you know what to look for if I asked it of you?

Dwarves build defensively, it seems - a man would have to be half-mad to try and lay siege on one of their castles, and Cothromach's too, is my hope. Of the things I've encountered that they're most willing to trade, there are those canons, which I would mount to discourage armies in the mountain passes, and self-repairing walls that I should like on the perimeter at the least. A guess of the length and height of its outer-facing walls would be the best place to start, for that.

Thank you, Lady Meera. It is a great service you do my family.
