It's a shame what happened at Maupertius, and I am still unsure how to move ahead from it. But for those who wondered, I am both safe and have left the area.

I seek information for any that have acquired land here. I understand the war, perhaps more now that I have seen what it can do up close, but I ask to know more of what is happening for the people here. I'd wish to do well by them. [In Westeros her people seem to be the more 'out there' type, however they also have more answers to what is going on. Here though, Meera struggles constantly with what to do.]

At the very least I would not have been so close to travel back to Cothromach.

It will be well. There is no shame in living, if only to seek to keep such from happening again.

He is powerful and cunning. He knows how to tell a person's court allegiance by their shard. It is how we were found out. He collects them, I think. Some would consider him more deadly than Morla.

One who hunts shards, then. A dangerous man to those of us in both courts.

People in both courts despise him because of it, yes. [Though she herself is only now trying to see what can be done.]

I wonder - does greed or hate motivate him?

I think he is one who had lost his shard. Many here are unhappy with how things are, how we are inevitable fodder for their war. Mayhaps he has become embittered, seeking out the power he has lost.

[She sighs.] And he seeks it in the way he knows best.

He must be stopped.

Indeed not. First we must see if there is anything that overpower him though.

There must be some information hidden away somewhere.

That is the information we now seek.

I have been looking for other information of late, but I will see what, if anything, I can find.
