Hello.

[ Alice has finally figured out how to lock this to her court! Yay. Well, no, the female imp she's befriended has figured out how to set that up for her. Awkward hellos aside, Alice clears her throat and speaks like she's been reading from a script.

So she's been rehearsing.]

As I am sure that you are all aware, there have been efforts to recover those feathers. I am not sure how far along the others are, but might I ask who would be interested in conjoining search efforts?

[She is not good at these things; Alice tosses her hair and opts to use a more casual tone, rolling her eyes at herself.]

I am at the station still, but I can make my way towards any parts of Drabwurld that need more unseelie hands. I will say I would prefer to go with the group I traveled with to the Redgate, but as far as others go, well. Maybe I prefer my own court.

It would seem the King of Birds was powerful indeed. I would like to see properties his other feathers hold.

That was my impression. And shapeshifting, while interesting, is not new to me.

Neither myself for that matter, but turning into a bird? Well, flying could be fun!

Only take care not to be spotted by a larger bird. Or a cat.

I've been small like a caterpillar and big enough to walk over castle walls. But more importantly...

[ He hasn't seen her other ability, has he? Alice makes a point to stand up, back away from the locket so she can get enough space for this. She materializes in a puff of blue and grey, into butterflies and then back into a solid form. At least he'd appreciate it, unlike a few elves. ]

[ The Outsider's smile is wider than usual when Alice is back to her normal form, and he inclines his head. It's not quite a bow, but it's close. ]

Well, by all technicalities, it's not supposed to happen.

Along with my knife, it's not supposed to be real. This world as a whole can be real, but not these things.

There is powerful magic here. The monarchs have it; it would not surprise me if the very air we breathe was thick of it. Perhaps that is why it and your blade are real here, where they otherwise might not be.

They would do well to leave it at just that, then. Figments of my imagination like my vorpal blade should never take form.

[ There wouldn't be ruin, not with the Dollmaker dead and Alice freeing Wonderland once again. Though, if she were to wake up one day and see the red realm or perhaps Skool again, she won't be a happy camper. ]

Your imagination -- in some places, it may belong to its own world. The Void itself is a realm of dreams as well as chaos.

[ Surely he recalls Alice's nonchalant reponse to it. ]

Not quite. But close.

Then... it is like that. But not quite. The place in which my knife came from.

[ Given how things have been for her in the past, Alice is quick to lock this. Here, she considers. She will tell him of a little, but not fully. He reminds her of the cheshire cat, but even then, she wants to be sure she could even confide in this being.

She can't possibly have a repeat of the Dollmaker. Alice's vorpal blade is in her hands, so that she can explain it a little better, less cryptically. ]

Your Void... it almost sounds like the world I had as a child. But-

This is the vorpal blade. It is keen and swift and it is meant to never dull. I've used to to slay many creatures- Jabberwocks, ruins, and then some. It was the only thing that could possibly make a cut through that dragon, no matter how small those cuts were.

But it is of my mind. It comes from the stories I held as a child, much like a hallucination. For it to be here is rather impossible. Besides, a literal piece of mind isn't supposed to manifest itself.
