[Galadriel’s manner is all business like when she appears onscreen and her speech is the same- clipped, efficient, precise.]

Recently, I was gifted with several messages which I believe to be of great import. Until I am certain of their intended audience and their meaning, I am hesitant to discuss them openly. I realize, however, that others here have access to resources that I do not. In this instance, practicality constrains my caution; I would know what information others have on these matters. I would ask if the name 'Isengrim' means aught to any here, or if any know of either the Fourteenth Sigil or a Wreath festival.

[Sparse in details, but that's done purposefully. This is more fishing for people to respond than looking for information outright. She doesn't exactly want to carry these conversations over a public channel.]

[Anyone in the common areas here may stumble across Galadriel, her hair tossed up in a quick bun, bent over a map of the Drabworld, marking paths and locations with a pencil and jotting names and numbers down into a small notebook.]

[Galadriel is so absorbed that it takes her a few moments to acknowledge her new company.]

Do my plans interest you? [She speaks without looking up, but there's a smile in her voice.]

[Once she's noticed, the child skips back two steps or so. She makes a soft, amused little sound and gives a teasing half-curtsy before she answers.]

Maybe.

[Her grin is sly, and she starts to walk then, in a circle around where the elf is looking at her map, letting her arms swing at her side.]

What are you trying to plan for?

[Oh, but that sly look earns her a full smile and Galadriel actually sets down her pen to regard the girl.]

I am considering proposing a journey to my daughter. As there are several routes we might take, I am attempting to discern the most efficient.

[When Lumina has made almost a whole circle of the table she spins around on one foot and then hops up on the edge of it, sitting there with her legs swinging and her hands braced on either side as she peers down at the map again.]

Where ya goin'?

[Well. That is quite bold. Amused, Galadriel raises an eyebrow.] Generally, child, it is considered polite to introduce oneself before asking questions.

[Lumina was never one for caring about being rude. Still, she gave a smile that was either apologetic or amused.]

Lumina.

[Either apologetic or amused works. She was half teasing anyway.]

Well, Lumina, I am considering making the journey to Truen. Have you been?

[chaoticwhimsy]

Nope. [The child turns to peer at the map again, scanning it before she taps at Caer Scima.]

I've only been to castle gloomy and this place.

Ah. We are from opposing courts, then. [She finds Caer Glaem and gives it a tap.] If Caer Scima is 'Castle Gloomy,' then we may call Caer Glaem ' the Castle of Splendor.'

[chaoticwhimsy]

Oh! [Lumina can't quite keep a straight face.] I guess that means we have to fight now!

[She puts up a tiny, completely not-threatening fist and shakes it.]

[That gets an outright laugh] Nay, certainly not. I made my way to neutral ground for a reason, little one.

[Lumina just giggles and puts her hand down, her legs swinging away under the table.]

So what's it like? At Castle Splendor? It's on my list of places to go but they prooooobably won't let me in, huh?

I would not recommend making the attempt, no. But the name says it all, does it not? It is a fair sight, indeed, Caer Glaem- all shining towers and lush gardens.

[chaoticwhimsy]

Sounds boring. [She giggled.] All those fancy places always seem to be full of stiff old people who never want to have any fun.

Oh, I beg to differ! I have spent a great deal of my life in 'fancy places' and I assure you, there is always merriment to be found, if one knows where to look.

[chaoticwhimsy]

Merriment is never the same thing as fun, you know. It's probably fancy tea parties where everyone stands around talking about politics.

You make it sound as if the nobility is born fully grown. I was child in 'fancy place' such as that. you know.

[chaoticwhimsy]

Oh yeah. Aging is a thing most places huh.

[Hmm.]

So what did you do for fun as a kid, huh?

For some more than others. [Says the eight thousand plus year old elf.]

It depended on the day and upon my mood. Some days, I would simply read, or sing, or garden. Others, I might go riding, or swimming. Or I might choose to leave one of my brothers' favorite tunics at the top of the highest tree I could find.

[Lumina giggles at that last bit.]

Okay, that sounds fun. The rest of it doesn't, though.

Ah, so you are a troublemaker! [A little laugh] Well, suffice it to say there was more of that sort of fun than I now care to admit.

[chaoticwhimsy]

A troublemaker? Me? [Lumina manages to put on an air of pure innocence, even pressing her hands together piously.]
