Second Bloom ❀ (Video) [Open to both]
[Flora is outside, sitting on what appears to be a swing, but in place of chains are woven vines. As time passes, little flowers bloom along their length. The locket is not on her person, it hovers in front of her, and the view shows her wearing what look like a white overall dress over a pink top and work gloves. Several fairies are flying around her, braiding her hair, or sitting on either shoulder. She waves before gently taking hold of the vine chains.]
Hello everyone, I hope you're well.
[Her voice is more deliberate with the well wishes, and her smile is kind, knowing. A lot's happened--when isn't it--but she does hope everyone has come out of it for the better, somehow. It's no meaningless platitude.
She moves to put her finger to her lip, remembers she's wearing gloves and thinks better of it, and instead cants her head thoughtfully. Her voice is gentle and curious.]
There's something I've been wondering about for a while now, and don't quite seem to understand, just yet. [There is a slight upturn to her lips. She is a patient girl, but she can't say she likes not understanding things. It's what she always seeks to do, if she can.] I've heard of some things from other people that were kind enough to answer me [mostly kind, anyway. Zelos was a little rude.] but with so many people from so many places, I'm curious about the similarities and differences.
[She looks directly at the locket.]
What exactly is a God or Goddess? Or what would you say make one? The same with angels. Is this something that has some sort of set criteria or is it more malleable?
[One might notice that she doesn't ask about demons, but that's because she doesn't realise there's a need; they're the same as monsters to her.
Flora dips her head in thanks and smiles, once again.]
Please, I would very much like to hear what anyone has to say. Thank you.
[Seelie Locked]
I'm headed to the mountains for a mission, soon. I just thought I should mention that. It should be interesting.

[Like what a rock? He don't get it]
Yep, there's at least one for each. And a summoner does the summoning! [Ha...] Really that just means if there's someone with the ability to summon, they can form pacts with Summon Spirits and use their power.
no subject
[YEP.]
Oh, I get it. That's very fascinating, and sounds like it might be a huge responsibility. [It's taking all she has to not ask the names of all of them and what they all do precisely, but she asks him so many questions, she knows, and so she'll try to keep it to a minimum.
For now.] I used to do something like that, but I didn't need any pacts. Hmm, can you summon a spirit of an element that you can't wield?
no subject
You could summon the Spirits? [Goddess Flora way to show off] Yeah, you can. The summoner I know can't even use magic herself, but that doesn't stop her from making pacts with any of the Summon Spirits.
no subject
But not be so normalised he'll take it for granted.]
Oh no, not Spirits, not like that! That sounds like it would be way beyond me. [She laughs a little.] I just summoned or created animals to help me and friends out with things, sometimes. They could be pretty big, sometimes, but they weren't spirits by any means.
no subject
You...created creatures. [DA. FUQ]
no subject
[WHAT IS IT WHAT DID SHE SAY]
no subject
Just what are you supposed to be exactly? [SINCE MAN THATS FREAKY]
no subject
She can make tea, too. It's quite nice.Okay, perhaps she's taking for granted that to her this isn't a big deal because she's used to it and has been for quite some time even if she hasn't needed to use such spells in a while.
Her voice is calm, but she folds her hands together, a little at a loss.]
I'm a fairy, okay. The Fairy of Nature.
no subject
[Give him a moment. He's not sure what he was expecting, but it wasn't that.]
Uh...
[A pause; how to put this]
Don't take this the wrong way, my dear, but...aren't you kinda...big for a fairy?
no subject
Nah, she takes his meaning and offers a small, careful smile.]
Where I'm from, the girls here would be small for fairies. [A beat.] Until they'd learned how to shrink, anyway. But fairies come in all shapes and sizes, even here.
no subject
Is that so... [That's really weird, but, it's not like he knows much about fairies so whose he to say?] Huh.
[Fairies must be really powerful then. Or at least the big ones.]
I take it you just keep the wings hidden then.
[Not that he finds that aspect so weird. Because reasons.]
no subject
Oh, yeah! I have to transform to get them. [She laces her fingers together, a little guiltily before raising a thumb and forefinger close together.] I sort of...kept it a little on the down low when I first arrived here, but I stopped doing that quite a while ago. I couldn't really keep it up after some things happened and never really wanted to, in the first place.
[What a mess that was.]
It just must have really slipped my mind with you, I'm sorry.
no subject
[It's still weird. Very weird. But whatever it's not like his life isn't already full of weird]
Hm? Oh, it's fine. It's not like I've told you everything about me. I just wasn't expecting to hear someone being able to create animals like it was no big deal. That's still really something.
no subject
[Her hands loosen from around the vines and it's only then that she realises she was a little tense. She cares what he thinks about her, at least with this it seems.
Flora looks to the side for a moment, and rocking back and forth on her swing playfully.]
Hmm, I made a whole bunch of magical pets out of stuffed animals, last year. You know, since we're on the subject.
no subject
[There's a pause]
Uh...that depends. It won't like, cost me part of my soul or my first born child or anything like that, right?
no subject
[She should probably stand for this. She tells the fairies that they can take a break for a bit, which they accept easily and fly away. They seem to know what's coming. Flora gets to get feet, raises her fore and middle fingers and crosses her arms at their wrists.]
Winx Believix!
[A brilliant flash of golden light completely envelops her, obscuring any details but leaving her silhouette, and when it disappears, there she stands with her wings.
Also longer hair with new styling and dat outfit, but yes, the wings tho.
She puts a hand on her hip and a finger to her chin, striking a pose.]
Flora, Fairy of Nature!
no subject
[He watches, his eyes wide at the presentation. Honestly not at the light, or the wings. Because that's no different from an angel. But-]
Whoa-
[BUT!!]
Did your hair get longer?!
omg zelos please
You really focus on the important things, don't you.
[She's one to talk, though and only half-kidding about that because hair is important. So important! It's why she grins at him before offering an excited little smile.]
But yes, it did! It comes up to my feet like this.
[Longer from around her lower thighs/knees, so she's just set for dumb long hair no matter what. But she flies up a bit and the locket adjusts itself so he can see the difference in length. Not that it was ever thin, far, far, far from it, but it's also a lot more full, too.] See?
[The locket then moves up until her face is in the view and Flora points to her head.]
Also, it's a little pink now, too.
no subject
[Because seriously that is freaky! Only Mithos's hair length would only change, and that's only when he would age himself with the crystal's power so that was explainable. But this! This!]
Wow... so wait-
Which length is your real hair length?
no subject
[Flora raises an eyebrow and stares at him.
Zelos what kind of questions is that.]
no subject
So, like what- does the fairy magic prevent the extra length from getting messy or do you have to style both lengths separately?
[Zelos asks all the hard questions ok]
no subject
[The hardest.]
No, my hair's always automatically like this when I transform, no styling needed! I've never really had to worry about it getting messy when I fight, either. It just stays neat, I mean unless you deliberately throw something at me or something gross explodes in my face. [Flashbacks to first year.] When I transform back, my hair just goes back to what it was beforehand.
no subject
[You know how hard it is to wash blood out of red hair?? DO YOU KNOW??]
no subject
[Flora runs her fingers through it before giving it a toss.]
But if anything happens to yours, I'll give you a special shampoo and conditioner for it.
[Man that does not sound fun.]
no subject
[Rude!!]
Thanks, but I can take care of my own hair.
