Second Bloom ❀ (Video) [Open to both]
[Flora is outside, sitting on what appears to be a swing, but in place of chains are woven vines. As time passes, little flowers bloom along their length. The locket is not on her person, it hovers in front of her, and the view shows her wearing what look like a white overall dress over a pink top and work gloves. Several fairies are flying around her, braiding her hair, or sitting on either shoulder. She waves before gently taking hold of the vine chains.]
Hello everyone, I hope you're well.
[Her voice is more deliberate with the well wishes, and her smile is kind, knowing. A lot's happened--when isn't it--but she does hope everyone has come out of it for the better, somehow. It's no meaningless platitude.
She moves to put her finger to her lip, remembers she's wearing gloves and thinks better of it, and instead cants her head thoughtfully. Her voice is gentle and curious.]
There's something I've been wondering about for a while now, and don't quite seem to understand, just yet. [There is a slight upturn to her lips. She is a patient girl, but she can't say she likes not understanding things. It's what she always seeks to do, if she can.] I've heard of some things from other people that were kind enough to answer me [mostly kind, anyway. Zelos was a little rude.] but with so many people from so many places, I'm curious about the similarities and differences.
[She looks directly at the locket.]
What exactly is a God or Goddess? Or what would you say make one? The same with angels. Is this something that has some sort of set criteria or is it more malleable?
[One might notice that she doesn't ask about demons, but that's because she doesn't realise there's a need; they're the same as monsters to her.
Flora dips her head in thanks and smiles, once again.]
Please, I would very much like to hear what anyone has to say. Thank you.
[Seelie Locked]
I'm headed to the mountains for a mission, soon. I just thought I should mention that. It should be interesting.

[Because seriously that is freaky! Only Mithos's hair length would only change, and that's only when he would age himself with the crystal's power so that was explainable. But this! This!]
Wow... so wait-
Which length is your real hair length?
no subject
[Flora raises an eyebrow and stares at him.
Zelos what kind of questions is that.]
no subject
So, like what- does the fairy magic prevent the extra length from getting messy or do you have to style both lengths separately?
[Zelos asks all the hard questions ok]
no subject
[The hardest.]
No, my hair's always automatically like this when I transform, no styling needed! I've never really had to worry about it getting messy when I fight, either. It just stays neat, I mean unless you deliberately throw something at me or something gross explodes in my face. [Flashbacks to first year.] When I transform back, my hair just goes back to what it was beforehand.

[You know how hard it is to wash blood out of red hair?? DO YOU KNOW??]
no subject
[Flora runs her fingers through it before giving it a toss.]
But if anything happens to yours, I'll give you a special shampoo and conditioner for it.
[Man that does not sound fun.]
no subject
[Rude!!]
Thanks, but I can take care of my own hair.
no subject
[There's a difference. Duh.
Flora raises a hand and speaks on the side of it, like she's letting him in on a little secret.] Well, if it makes you feel better, something literally blew up in all our faces once in first year and it got in all of our hair, so things don't always go according to plan. And who's "we"?
And that's fine, I understand. Hair is personal and important!
no subject
Heh...it would, but I'm not malicious enough to wish ill on someone's hair! [He's got standards really. And oh, the "we" question] Hm? Heh, well, you know- I'm pretty sure it's obvious by now I'm not a fairy.
no subject
[As for his reply she grins a little.] I was guessing as much, though you'd be surprised! It's not always as easy to tell.
no subject
[He chuckles] Yeah, you proved that. Well, I'm definitely not! You can believe that.
no subject
[The natural progression to be to ask what, but she'll let him tell her that on his own. She doesn't want to risk making things weird.
So, she keeps it light.]
Well, I definitely know you're not, at least not like I am, otherwise you wouldn't have certain hair problems.
no subject
[Oh, he ain't explaining, not directly. Instead, he shifts the subject to what he's been stalking]
So? Learning a lot from your query?
no subject
Flora's wings twitch and perk to attention alongside the rest of her when he asks his question.]
Yes, you can say that I am. I think the biggest thing I'm taking away from this so far is that not very many people like deities.
no subject
[Even he's little surprised by the level of douchery all these deitites got going on. Not horribly so, but still. Yeesh.]
Probably should've warned you that it tends to be a touchy with people! Sorry about that.
[He really doesn't sound that sorry.]
no subject
[She still has her wings, but it doesn't stop her from sitting right back on her swing. She sort of has to tuck them back to make them fit, first.
Flora stares upward, thinking.]
From what I gather they have tremendous power and immortality. The more power you have the larger your burden to use it responsibly, especially for the people in your charge. It's not just something I believe, it's something that just should be, but it doesn't seem like many of them feel like that. With anyone else that acted like some of them do, they'd usually be stopped somehow, or arrested, but I guess it's a little difficult to hold absolute beings accountable for their actions or lack thereof.
[How depressingly frustrating.]
I had an itch I wanted to scratch, but now I'm just hoping someone has something nice to say. Some deities are good, it seems. I've heard two different things: that they can't understand people or that they're like them, but the latter case gives me more hope.
Casually turns this to private
[He casually messes with the amulet's settings until the conversation is private. Since hey, he knows enough to be careful about these issues. Then he makes a thoughtful noise]
Well, I don't know if it helps...but some of these seem to sound closer to Spirits than actual gods. It's an understandable mix-up, especially if the Spirit fashions themselves to be a god.
[He crosses his arms a little. Right. Remember not everything is like Aselia] Then again, I could be wrong. I'm more used to the idea of a deity is...almost never directly involved with people's lives. Least, not in any ways you can readily tell.
their first private conversation /sheds a tear. or second i guess
[Except she's a nerd she'd find anything interesting.]
Well, it's not so much help for me, I'd just like to hear something good so I know that there's someone that hasn't had a bad time of things.
[She just cares a lot about people.]
Hmm, if a Spirit fashioned themselves that way, why couldn't they be a god, technically speaking? Unless it's because they'd negate that involvement clause.
keep it together Vynd!!
[Seriously. This is all a pile of bad luck]
Well, I guess that'd depend on a person's definition of a god. But Spirits aren't all powerful. They got limits too. Even...if they way surpass mortal limitations.
i make no promises 8Db
[Casually sinceres in his direction nbd
But her eyes widen and she smiles raising a finger as a lightbulb goes off over her head.]
Oh, so gods are gods omnipotent! This is making more sense.
no subject
[Such gross sincerity being thrown at him he's gonna have to shower]
Yeah, that's right. Omnipotent and Omniscience, that's them.
no subject
[She can be 100000% honest about that
Welcome to your life now, bro.]
How do they come into being, anyway? Were they just always there, or appear spontaneously or is it all just a huge mystery?
no subject
A huge mystery. I mean, if I'm honest...it's not even certain true gods even exist.

Uh...I mean, do you know what a religion is?
