[ good girl. the two words inspire a flutter of contradictory feelings. on one side, they make her feel a little safer. being good -- performing to expectations -- saves you from bruises. but on the other...

well. she can't quite pin the thing that makes her feel unwholesome. ]

I've never known a god to have a name. Titles, certainly. I know the Father and the Mother and the Warrior -- but those aren't names, your majesty.
