[For a while, Deedlit is seen sitting on the edge of one of the high walls, seeming perfectly at ease even while sitting so dangerously close to the edge. The wind seems to be blowing, her blonde hair whipping in the direction it's moving through. She just seems to be watching, eyes narrowed in focus. Keeping watch? It seems likely.

Finally, though, she does speak.]

I'm very pleased to see people wanting to work together to fight this threat, courts aside. I'm sure all of this hasn't been easy on anyone.

[She does look a little worried now.]

But will we be able to fight one another once this threat has passed?

[Deedlit shakes her head a little and puts on a cheerful smile.]

In any case! I'm here to help if anyone needs assistance or just someone to talk to. My name is Deedlit, if you don't know already. I hope we'll work well together in the future.

[He would ignore her, easily. But those ears seem rather Hylian to him and he wonders if she might be someone else from his world.]

When swords are raised, these conversations will mean naught. War is war, no matter what bonds exist.

[Well that made her scowl a little. She didn't recognize him at all, but that didn't mean that she wouldn't argue.]

You really think that people will fight each other, regardless of how they feel about them?

That is war, girl. When the king commands, the people follow. Not all wars are so simple that each soldier chooses the side they wish to be on.

It still doesn't make it any easier to accept, even if we don't have a choice.

Bitter realities are often hard to swallow. I have no desire to wage war on your court or for yours to wage war on mine. But when the time comes, our protests may not matter.

I suppose you do have a point. It is why we've been brought here.

[She sighs heavily, looking a bit sullen.]
