Video - Open to Seelie and Unseelie
[For a while, Deedlit is seen sitting on the edge of one of the high walls, seeming perfectly at ease even while sitting so dangerously close to the edge. The wind seems to be blowing, her blonde hair whipping in the direction it's moving through. She just seems to be watching, eyes narrowed in focus. Keeping watch? It seems likely.
Finally, though, she does speak.]
I'm very pleased to see people wanting to work together to fight this threat, courts aside. I'm sure all of this hasn't been easy on anyone.
[She does look a little worried now.]
But will we be able to fight one another once this threat has passed?
[Deedlit shakes her head a little and puts on a cheerful smile.]
In any case! I'm here to help if anyone needs assistance or just someone to talk to. My name is Deedlit, if you don't know already. I hope we'll work well together in the future.

We moved to defeat the Worms because it was necessary, Lady; and no doubt we will defeat each other likewise, if it is the only manner of returning home, or winning succor in this strange place.
But whatever the future holds, you are well met, Deedlit. I am called Celegorm, and am glad for your company.

But what he said...It didn't make things any easier to accept. Defeating someone shouldn't be taken so lightly, no matter if it was necessary or not. But in favor of keeping pleasant conversation going, she decided to let it go.]
It's a pleasure to meet you, Celegorm. I'm glad that you seem to be well enough, given the recent attack.
Re: Video
[ His sharp chin dips forward a little, a courtly pleasantry the like of a bow, and his pale eyes are as bright and hard as gems. ]
I was fortunate enough to be in good company, my lady, well-armed and prepared for whatever trouble might come. And likewise, I'm pleased to see you have gone unharmed. But...
[ He hesitates there, uncertainty passing over his pointed features like the shadow of a bird wheeling overhead; fleetingly there, swiftly gone, missed easily in a blink. ]
I beg you, please. Tell me what land you hail from.

I come from the Forest of No Return. Though, I was most recently on the isle of Lodoss.
[She reaches up to push her pale hair back over her shoulder, pausing as if to wait for his reaction. No doubt he wouldn't recognize it. None of the elves there did.]

Tell me, Lady; what was the name of your king? And the line of kings who came before him? The Forest of No Return... mortal men have given such names to the land of Doriath.
My brother has come here from a point in time in my world well beyond mine; it is possible, perhaps, that you have been pulled from a time even further still?

[She hums quietly, looking thoughtful for a moment as she considers the possibility.]
Perhaps. It is possible, though I have yet to meet anyone from the same realm I am from. What is your brother's name?

[Really, she's pretty friendly considering he could be an enemy. Yeeaah...Deedlit has been having issues with that.]

I see...Well, I hope that we don't have to fight.
[You're missing the whole point, Deed.]

That works for me. What should I call you, though?

You got longer ears than M'sieur Thran.

[At the mention of her ears, she laughs a little.]
I've noticed. Maybe it's because I'm from a different place than he is. All of my people have long ears like these.

Are there pups like me? Humans?

When swords are raised, these conversations will mean naught. War is war, no matter what bonds exist.

You really think that people will fight each other, regardless of how they feel about them?
