[He then seems to direct the feed more now, clearing his throat and giving a smile]

Hello out there all you beautiful ladies! ♥ Oh, and all you guys too I guess. If you don't recognize my handsome face, I'm the great Zelos Wilder! But you can always call me Zelos too.

Anyway, I just got here last night, so I'm feeling a bit lost to what's going on. All I really know there's something about being on another world and some war going on with these tiny fairy guys. I can't say I'm eager to fight for some guys who abducted me, but if anyone can give me information, I think it'd be good to know!

[And then it seems the cheerful sass dies down a little on the next request, sincerity coming through instead. Colette had just been with him, and he had been looking for Lloyd already- so he's worried they got dragged into this mess too]

Oh, also- I don't know if they're here, but if anyone's heard anything about a Lloyd Irving or a Colette Brunel - could you let me know? ....Thanks.

That's a first. I'm just saying that people around here take titles pretty seriously. [No. No, actually, it's just that Ryan met "Prince Hans" and has been convinced either everybody's crazy, or he's out of his league.]

From what I've noticed, but I haven't been here much longer than you have. [He shrugs, an echoing eyeroll following. Seriously, how come he doesn't get a cool title? Maybe he should just start introducing himself as Ryan Evans, Lord of the Dance.] I can't even tell if titles matter in a place like this.

Oh. [That part he understands.] Hopefully you find them. Kinda seems like a luck of the draw, you know? Some people have a lot of their friends here, some people wound up on their own.

[And at the remark of titles, Zelos calmly shrugs] Most titles only matter if the people acknowledge they matter. A king's not much of a king if no one's willing to follow him, right?

I mean, except for my title. 'Cause I'm great whether you accept it or not, haha!

You've never been to high school, have you? [There's a small quirk of his mouth. Sharpay's followers are few and fair between but she still acts like a queen and has a high standing in hierarchy. He can't even argue Zelos's title at this rate.]

High...school?

[He at least sounds confused about the first part. How can a school be high? Da hell does that mean]

...I'll take that as a no! [Man. How do you even explain high school...] There are schools where you're from, right?

Schools? Sure. I graduated from a place called the Research Academy.

Okay and how many people were in your graduating class? ["Research Academy? This guy?"]

I dunno, it's been a few years and I didn't keep track...maybe a few hundred?

Annnd did those hundreds all think and act the same? [He has a point, Zelos, really.]

Maybe? I dunno, it's been a few years so a lot of my time with my peers' kinda a blur. [And partly because he spent a good chunk of those times drunk or on drugs]

Why? Does everyone in a High School think and act the same?

No, that's sort of my point. He just gives Zelos a mildly bemused smile.] A king can be a king in high school without anybody actually liking or following them. There are some people that rule with an iron fist without even needing a loyal band of followers.

So. Kind of renders the whole "king's not a king if no one follows" thing useless.

Wait - I don't get it. You're saying no one listens to them - but they're still considered the king? How?

The social hierarchy in most schools is really weird that way. [There's a pause, thinking of how he wants to explain.]

There's this girl I know. She's usually not that nice of a person to everybody. Actually to be fair? She's really only nice to people if they have something she wants, and sometimes she's nice to me. People don't really listen to her that often but she's still considered one of the most popular and powerful girls in school.

Our school's kind of different now, but power hasn't completely changed hands yet. Does that make sense? [Dear god please say that made sense because Ryan has no idea how to describe it without saying that East High's Primo Boy went through an identity crisis, took the whole school with him and East High's Primo Girl is busy trying to regain her "throne."]

[There's a pause on his end as he tries to wrap his mind around it. Sure, he went to school. But its not like he really paid attention to the social dynamics of the student body. He had too much going on.]

[But nope, in the end it makes him confused and wondering if this girl had hired thugs or something this guy just didn't know about]

Hmm...not really.

I mean, I'm guess on what kind of power in that situation even exists to have. Is it money, status, fame, influence over teachers - hired thugs to thrash her enemies?

[Yeah sometime's he's not the best at explaining things in a clear and concise manner. So instead he just sort of laughs.]

It's a little of everything. She's one of the richest kids in our school and the funny this is that she knows exactly what to say and do to get teachers to listen to her. [Despite the fact that Sharpay uses her power for evil most of the time, he wasn't kidding when he said he was proud to call her his sister.] I think I'd know about any hired thugs though, that's not really in our budget…[Which isn't true, he's pretty sure Sharpay could hire a hitman if she wanted to.]

Anyway it sounds dumb, yeah, but in our world that's where a lot of the power came from. Nothing like this. The only kings and queens we had were Homecoming and Prom. Before the huge social shift though she never had to worry about her status and now it's suddenly like it's the end of the world.
