[It takes some tinkering for him to figure out how to work the locket. But he's a clever guy, and not unused to magitech- so eventually he figures it out. And once he does, there's a video feed of a man with red hair and wearing pink coming onto your lockets]

Well what do you know, a piece of tacky jewelry that talks. What I always wanted.

[He then seems to direct the feed more now, clearing his throat and giving a smile]

Hello out there all you beautiful ladies! ♥ Oh, and all you guys too I guess. If you don't recognize my handsome face, I'm the great Zelos Wilder! But you can always call me Zelos too.

Anyway, I just got here last night, so I'm feeling a bit lost to what's going on. All I really know there's something about being on another world and some war going on with these tiny fairy guys. I can't say I'm eager to fight for some guys who abducted me, but if anyone can give me information, I think it'd be good to know!

[And then it seems the cheerful sass dies down a little on the next request, sincerity coming through instead. Colette had just been with him, and he had been looking for Lloyd already- so he's worried they got dragged into this mess too]

Oh, also- I don't know if they're here, but if anyone's heard anything about a Lloyd Irving or a Colette Brunel - could you let me know? ....Thanks.

I'm surprised more people don't ask about their friends on the lockets like this. [ ... ] But to answer your question, no I haven't heard anything about them.

It also transcribes speech to handwritten calligraphy. [The piece of jewelry, that is. There is a sort of quaint, inherently ridiculous charm to that particular feature.]

[Anything's got to have its hypothetical uses but oh there's nothing wrong with a little feature for flair.]

Perhaps not, but treating it as base information which you can test is preferable to operating through blind spots, I should think.

Although, I suppose if you've little intention of getting involved in the war anyway... [...Then it's less to invest in for better or for worse. She tilts her head a hint, smile's absently amused.]

Sure, but it's not like this locket has a time travel feature where I can relive the conversation! [a beat] Unless it does- does it?

Of course I have little intention to, I got enough people trying to kill me at home, my dear. But even if I don't wanna get involved, I'd still like to know what's going on so I don't accidentally walk into a battle, you know?

Don't know. I think a lot of people are just more sneaky about it.

And given that we're supposed to be in the middle of a war, Iiii'd go with relieved.

I can do that, I was kinda hoping to at least have someone explain a little the mess I've gotten myself into! Especially a beautiful someone such as yourself!

Well, I'd guess the obvious thing I'd like to know is if there's more ways to get back home than winning their war. I don't suppose anyone would know more about that, huh?

No. There seems to be none. As far as we're permitted to know.

If I was to perform an act that pleased the queen and king of my court, then I may be able to be granted a wish. We are, apparently, not to wish to return home or to see any family, friends, or allies not confirmed to be here with us.

And so if you don't hear anything of your Lloyd Irving or Colette Brunel within the next few nights, you may not be seeing them at all. If you do, when is completely out of your hands.

I'm not really interested in getting any wishes from royalty. They tend to come with strings. [Especially ones that kidnap you!] But what happens if you don't please them? Is there some kind of punishment for not being their soldier?

[She's still smiling, but it's thinner and looser. Nothing active - simple leaning back to test confidence on the point she can speak with.] I've lived here for two months, myself. All I've done for the Unseelie Queen and King is fail to displease them.

And lack of interest in acting against their will was recently all it took to get me a boon. [Not only her, but 'course she's speaking for herself.]
