[Chieri looks grim opening the locket this evening, her kirara floating around her in an attempt at comfort. She's spent the last few days out in the wilderness desperately trying to lend her strength to the stars and the souls calling for help, but to no avail. Now change is happening, and it's time to reach out.]

Everyone's noticed the sky, haven't they? The past few days, I've been hearing voices from beyond it calling for help. And I've been doing what I can, but just by myself isn't enough. I need your help, everyone. Please.

[The plea is slightly desperate, those images of souls being torn apart rattled her and despite how mature she always tries to seem it's not difficult to notice this is a cry from a scared child. Chieri needs everyone to come together. War or not, surely the people of the Drabwurld will want to help people in pain. Right?]

For those of you that don't know me, I'm Sono Chieri of AKB0048. We're a group of idols that can channel emotions and prayers into strength through music. Despite lending those souls all the strength I can, it hasn't made much difference on it's own. Idols are strongest when their hearts resonate with the people around them and become one, if everyone could come together, and listen to my song, I'm sure our wishes will reach them. Even if we can't go to where they are to help them, we can still send them the power to protect themselves and face what's coming. It doesn't take anything from you, all you have to do is listen and hope. That's all.

I'm going to hold a concert at the station, tonight if I can, and as many nights after as it takes. We have those rings to help us travel now, I'd like it if everyone showed up. Thank you.

((I will be putting up a station log at the weekend that will be open to all, this is just a note to warn you that showing up to the concert opens your characters up to emotion sharing, 'connecting their hearts and becoming one' means that if they listen to Chieri's song they develop sort of empathetic bonds with the people around them, not just Chieri. So if you want to have some CR get way more of an insight to each other that's great! If not, and you still want to have your character hear pretty music and help stars, we can work something out too. You can also use it as an excuse to resonate and bond even more deeply with stars if your character needs an excuse to grab/keep one. Let's make this concert fun for everyone!))

[Is that good, or bad? There had been people talking about it when she'd looked back at the network, but very few, and some quick to just dismiss it as weather. Now more people can hear them, they can help. But does that also mean the situation is getting more desperate?]

Our songs are designed to bring hope to people's hearts and make dreams come true. But they also have a physical effect. When I say they give people strength, I mean it in a literal way as well. The strength to defend against whatever is hurting them, power, it can make shields for them as well. It felt like... [Chieri hesitates here, remembering visions of those souls being torn apart. She doesn't want to repeat that, to make it seem even more hopeless or distress someone who hadn't had to see it for themselves. They can still be saved, she thinks, that suffering doesn't have to continue to be the reality. So she doesn't say it outright.] ...We can aid them in keeping themselves together.

Well, I feel like... I feel like I wanna reach up there.

[He rubs his hair back, grinning awkwardly.]

Sounds kinda stupid, doesn't it? But yeah, uh, that's a pretty cool power you got there. And the more people who come, the stronger the power, right?

So I'll definitely show. You can count on me.

It doesn't sound stupid. [Reaching for the stars is completely normal no judging from the magical space idol]

Will you be coming to the station then, little spark? [ He looks tired, and so very sad, much worse than the last time she saw him, but the smile is real and gentle, if small ]

I would like to hear you sing, I think - but be careful. War flies on swift wings these days - and the lands are not safe.

I'm not going expecting safety. [What is safety? Chieri is perfectly used to singing amidst warfare and dancing while dodging bullets and lasers and all sorts. That, at least, doesn't have her fazed, speaking evenly and confident.] I know it's dangerous, it always is, but I'll still do my best to protect everyone who comes.

[ He pauses only briefly before nodding ]

[ one more distraction. Just a bit more time, before he has to go to war ]

Tinwe? [Repeating it, curious, what on earth does that mean? But the curiosity is lost at his offer and she perks up.] I'd like that! We could teach each other our music.

'Little spark' [ he translates back for her ]

I would enjoy that, I think. I ... fear all my songs have been sad ones, of late. It will be good to hear those of a heart less heavy.

I haven't heard anything like what you're describing, but I've been getting a weird feeling lately. ... I guess something really is wrong.

That's an interesting power, though. I didn't know anyone could use music quite like that.

It's a very common thing where I'm from. [Honestly it feels strange having to explain it.] I know some other people have been feeling it as well, and if more and more of us are I fear it's getting worse. But, there are still things we can do.

... I see. I don't think it works the same way where I'm from, but it does make sense. People are stronger when they come together.

Count me in. If there's a chance it'll help a little, then it's definitely worth trying.

I'm Tsurugi, by the way. Which name do you prefer? [ he doesn't want to call her the wrong thing since that would be sort of rude. ]

You can call me Chieri. Or my fans have nicknamed me 'Cherry', that's fine too. [Laughs a little, it's a silly nickname based on an inside joke, but she's become fond of it.]

[Elincia goes quiet, looking thoughtful as she responds. She hasn't noticed anything but she never did have the connection Mist and the laguz had with the world]

You...don't happen to have heron blood, do you?

Heron blood? [Like... Like the birds? Chieri shakes her head slowly, baffled by the question. These different worlds really are odd.]

No... Not that I know of. But there are definitely voices beyond the stars, something is happening to them.

My apologies--[That would be a definite no, then]--it's just that back home there are laguz known as herons who have abilities much like yours. I thought perhaps you shared a connection with them.

I'm afraid I haven't been hearing any voices. But I will help you where I can.
