Hello.

[ Elsa's eyes are bright as she sits on camera, posture perfect, expression even. she's not sure if this is The Thing To Do Here, but it feels right to introduce herself, as others have been doing before her. if she's going to be working together with these people to fight for a common cause, she would like to get to know them. so there's no Queenly Air going on, just- a friendly face! well. she hopes she looks friendly. she's trying. she's still really new at this! ]

I am Queen Elsa, of Arendelle, and I've been chosen by the Seelie kingdom to help in their efforts to protect -my Shard. Well, all of our Shards, correct? And this kingdom. I'm honored to be here, truly. [ even though an inVITATION IN ADVANCE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE ahem ahem anyway. it's clear Elsa doesn't have all the facts on this fight, but she's working with what she knows, yeah.] War isn't entirely foreign to me, in concept, although I admit there hasn't been a time of war in my kingdom since I was born, so. I'll try my best to help, in whatever way I can, although I'll need to look to those with experience for guidance. [ but I won't slay anybody, that's insane. wait, shh, don't say that. that's a very undiplomatic thing to say. ]

Which is why I'm reaching out now, in hopes of finding someone that might be able to teach me how to use my given talents to help. Especially now, with the notice of the monsters [ worms, ew. ] that are attacking the land. In the interest of full disclosure- I have ice magic. And as uncommon as it is back in Arendelle, I know that isn't the case here, so I'm hoping that being honest about that isn't as unheard of as it was back home. I'm hoping to find someone willing to teach me how to use my magic both effectively, and safely, in this ..situation. [ she can't just go around making with the icicle stabby on everything they're told to fight. ..can she? ]

Also, I have been looking for one young woman in particular, her name is Anna. Princess Anna. [ this is so the important part here, finding her sister. even if she was trying hard to make it sound casual and NOT AT ALL WORRIED. and hey, yeah, she's going to use their titles. she's proud of their titles, because she's proud of her kingdom. rep-re-sent! ] Anna, if you're here? Let me know, please. I'd like to meet with you as soon as possible.

I don't keep things cold just because of magic, Elsa. That's why I can't unfreeze things, either. [ Ooooh, boy. Here it goes. ] I don't have any body-heat because I died and when I came back, I was like this. Which is great, right? Not Dead is way better than the alternative. 'Undead' might be pushing it a little.

[ A beat passes where his lips thin, jokes threading to nothing. ]

No, it- It's okay. It is great. I'm very glad that you're Not Dead, that you were brought back. That's quite amazing, actually.

[ ohnordiclord she's so the worst at actually concealing her emotions. hoarfrost is starting to spread over surface of her desk where her palm is resting flat against it, though she doesn't stop it, just makes sure it skirts around where her locket is sitting. better that than getting all emo-face on him. which- okay maybe she is. but it's not as bad as it could be, if she weren't directing all that FEELING!! into the ice that's creeping along her desk ]

Has that happened to anyone else in your world? I imagine not, but... Maybe that's for the best.

[ she grins, SHE'S TRYING OK, her jokes pretty much always fall flat though. sigh. ]

I'm not sure any world could handle more than one Jack Frost.

I don't think so, but other people became something like me over the years. They're my friends.

[ His demure smile flares with a barked laugh, blue eyes shining through the locket. ]

Probably like they couldn't handle another Elsa.

I was about to make a joke about befriending snowmen not counting, but- It would be a little hypocritical of me to do so.

[ not that she actually expects he's got a walking, talking snowman buddy, but. maybe she does. and maybe she doesn't mind admitting that to Jack. she slips her hands down onto her lap to fold them there, fingers tangling up together in an attempt to, uh, cut it out. the ice-desk can stay, though. for now. ]

The world could certainly handle another Elsa. A whole fleet of us, one for every kingdom.
