Hello.

[ Elsa's eyes are bright as she sits on camera, posture perfect, expression even. she's not sure if this is The Thing To Do Here, but it feels right to introduce herself, as others have been doing before her. if she's going to be working together with these people to fight for a common cause, she would like to get to know them. so there's no Queenly Air going on, just- a friendly face! well. she hopes she looks friendly. she's trying. she's still really new at this! ]

I am Queen Elsa, of Arendelle, and I've been chosen by the Seelie kingdom to help in their efforts to protect -my Shard. Well, all of our Shards, correct? And this kingdom. I'm honored to be here, truly. [ even though an inVITATION IN ADVANCE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE ahem ahem anyway. it's clear Elsa doesn't have all the facts on this fight, but she's working with what she knows, yeah.] War isn't entirely foreign to me, in concept, although I admit there hasn't been a time of war in my kingdom since I was born, so. I'll try my best to help, in whatever way I can, although I'll need to look to those with experience for guidance. [ but I won't slay anybody, that's insane. wait, shh, don't say that. that's a very undiplomatic thing to say. ]

Which is why I'm reaching out now, in hopes of finding someone that might be able to teach me how to use my given talents to help. Especially now, with the notice of the monsters [ worms, ew. ] that are attacking the land. In the interest of full disclosure- I have ice magic. And as uncommon as it is back in Arendelle, I know that isn't the case here, so I'm hoping that being honest about that isn't as unheard of as it was back home. I'm hoping to find someone willing to teach me how to use my magic both effectively, and safely, in this ..situation. [ she can't just go around making with the icicle stabby on everything they're told to fight. ..can she? ]

Also, I have been looking for one young woman in particular, her name is Anna. Princess Anna. [ this is so the important part here, finding her sister. even if she was trying hard to make it sound casual and NOT AT ALL WORRIED. and hey, yeah, she's going to use their titles. she's proud of their titles, because she's proud of her kingdom. rep-re-sent! ] Anna, if you're here? Let me know, please. I'd like to meet with you as soon as possible.

[ arya is not a fan of queens, or princesses for that matter. but there is something about this woman... she makes no demands like cersei would. she seems sweet, almost like sansa, when sansa isn't being a-- still, arya is wary of her. she has magic she says but arya is skeptical of that.]

You have ice magic? What is ice magic?

Just blast the monsters. Freeze them in place until the guys with sharp, pointy sticks run over.

[ wow spoiler: one of Elsa's biggest fear is people being afraid of her because of her powers. so, at first, she just registers young girl, and sure, Anna had been impressed with what she could do, but she knows better than to hope that all children would react the same. ..plus her tone. that is certainly a Tone. ]

[ so she'll be plain with the girl, tone still light, but not aw hi little girl what's youuuurrr name? she knows better. ]

[ arya isn't afraid, she's more skeptically curious. so when elsa tells her what she can do, her eyebrows go up.] You can make it winter? But-- [ hey, if she's offering to show her... she misses snow, she misses ice, she misses winterfell.]

Do you think your fighting techniques will work the same with what I can do?

Yeah. I, uh, don't recommend freezing them solid and shattering the bodies. I think they respawn if they're chopped up.

[ HOW WAS HE TO KNOW? ]

Kind of. So, yeah! Just hold them in place.

I could, though I'm not sure the rest of the kingdom would like that very much. However, I can-

[ she nods, stepping back from the camera just enough so that her full torso is in view once she stands, waist to the top of her head, and she holds her hands out like "here, see? nothing in my hands". but then she's gesturing like one might when one is packing some snow, a small glow starting between her palms before it turns into an orb, and then ta daaaa she's holding a small snowball. one she holds closer to the camera once it's formed, brushing her thumb over it so some of the frost falls away. ]

- do this. And-

[ then she's swirling her hand around once, and the snowball lifts up in the air so it can burst into a tiny snowfall, just in front of the camera. ]

[ .........wait ]

You think?

[ eeeehhhhHHHHH. ]

Well, there were a lot of chunks so maybe they just. Didn't? But they were gone when I went back later.

I have no idea.

Whatever, can you tell whoever's heading the charge to be extra careful in the forest and keep their eyes on the ground? Those things'll be little, if they're alive.

I'll be extra careful, of course, but my power is really unpredictable. I've only just started to test the limits of it. I can't promise you'll be completely safe.

[ your concern is touching but hardly necessary. ]

I think I'll be fine. [ oh nooo she sounds so sure of herself. but she's got the skills to back it up so it's all good. ] I grew up in the South Pole and I'm a top-notch waterbender if I say so myself.

[ Gabranth hasn't exactly known many queens in his time — the late Empress of House Solidor, perhaps, and some might consider the Lady Ashe as such, though that's still a darkly grey area in his mind — but protocol takes hold of him nevertheless. ]

Oh. [ she might be blushing. to be honest, she hadn't really thought of it like that. being taken from her kingdom was startling, yes, but this felt- bigger than that. her title matters to her, but she doesn't expect it to matter to anyone else here. it's just a matter of being pride of where she's from, what family she belongs to. ]

I'm sure they were paying more attention to what I can do than to my status in Arendelle. I only recently had my coronation, after all. I meant it when I said I was honored to be here. If they believe I can use my powers to help, then- I'm glad for it.
