[Hey, look at that. A step in the right direction. He was learning not to open his posts to the side that he was supposed to be fighting. And killing, if her royal glowiness had anything to say about it. Color him not impressed.

But, he was mentally digressing, the locket held in his hand and panned around his brand new shiny wizard's room.


He made sure to get everything in his little scan, showing off what looked like a chemistry set over on the table there and that glowing ball thing that hw as kind of avoiding because scary and everything that was just too cool for school about this room.]

Isn't this great? They gave me a room, totally warded and everything so I don't have to worry about causing earthquakes or setting anyone on fire. Well, outside of it. I could probably still set myself on fire. I'm trying to avoid that. Look, it even has my name on the door.

[Cue him going over and opening the door to show the stylized plaque that was adhered to the door with his name on it.]

Still not entirely impressed with being kidnapped and not being able to go home and the whole trying to kill me stuff, but this... goes a tiny way to making it better. Just a little bit. Ooh, look at this.

[The locket panned back over to a coat rack, where he'd hung up the cloak he'd found when he'd come in at first. It was a dark, dark red that had shimmery silver highlights when he moved it.]

I got a cloak. They're trying to make me a pretty pimp wizard. Hey, hey Radagast. Would that make me Stiles the Red?

[Have a beaming teenager as he turns the pendant around so he can grin into it.]

[He had to look around for a bit, having been fascinated by everything else first.]

How about you? I mean... since Isaac...

[Since Isaac had left. Stiles had gone poking around for him and hadn't been able to find him on the network. He was figuring out what that meant.]

[ She wasn't expecting that. She had thought, maybe, he'd just left the castle. But Stiles... well, Stiles made it sound final. ] So he's really gone, then.

Back home, yeah. I guess. I mean... I haven't heard anything else. But that's good, right?

[Probably not. Since that meant Isaac would eventually catch up to them.]

Probably. [ Yeah, she doesn't sound sure of that at all. ] I don't think he liked it here, anyway.

[teenyoda]

Given a choice? I'd go home.

[overdraws]

Yeah, I don't think I can blame you.

Kind of miss everyone, you know?

[teenyoda]

Maybe we'll go next? Fingers cross, Allison.

[overdraws]

[ She hesitates for just a second. ] Maybe! I'll keep them crossed for you.

[teenyoda]

[It takes him a minute, but he catches on and then groans, hand rubbing at his face.]

Shit, I'm sorry. That-- I didn't mean it like that. You know that, right?

[overdraws]

I know, Stiles. [ She does. She really does. It might be a little strange, but she doesn't mind at all; Stiles isn't weighing every choice he makes just because of that. He's not treating her like she's made out of glass, and she appreciates that. ] And I mean when I say I wish I could go back, too.

[teenyoda]

I wish I could go back... to before. So I could... I don't know. Change it?

[God, he'd change it if he could. He'd make that part not happen. He'd find some way to screw Void over.]

[overdraws]

[ She listens, thinking, musing. She wouldn't take it back, probably. She died protecting her friends, and if she was gonna go, that's how she wanted to. But at the same time, if she could go back, make it so that situation had never occurred at all, that any of them would never had had to fight the nogitsune the way they did? Yeah, she'd probably change that. ] If that were something possible, I'd be right there behind you. But if it was exactly the same all over again, Stiles, I... I don't think I would. Even knowing that'd it'd happen.

[teenyoda]

I wouldn't let you. Sorry, Allison, but... you're kind of important to us. All of us.

[Though the name 'Scott' was implied as the majority of the us, even though he knew they'd both moved on. First loves would always be first loves and he didn't begrudge either of them that.]

[overdraws]

[ Allison raises an eyebrow. ] You wouldn't be able to stop me from going to save Lydia.

[teenyoda]

I could avoid having Lydia be in trouble in the first place.

[If he'd known. If he'd known, could he have...

[overdraws]

[ As if any of them would have let him 'finish' it. ] That would work.

[teenyoda]

[As if he'd give them a chance to stop him.]

So maybe... maybe we can ask for that. I mean, they seem to have some weird control over timeline stuff. Maybe... Maybe when we're done here, when we can go home, we can ask to just... go back a bit. Just enough that we can fix this.

[overdraws]

[ She considers this, actually, taking a long moment to think about it. Would she die to save Lydia again? Absolutely. Would she go back and change it so that the Nogitsune never plagued them? In a heartbeat. But was it really a good idea? Dumping herself into an ice bath for sixteen hours had been freaky enough; Allison was acclimating to magic and fairies here in the Drab, but back home? It felt like a far cry from just werewolves and things that go bump in the night. ]

Do you really think it'd work?

[teenyoda]

I think I'd rather try for it than not.

[If he could make it so that Jennifer never took their parents or so that they never did the ice bath and already knew where the nematon was to go find her, maybe Void would never have been let out. And the beacon part of Beacon Hills wouldn't be so true anymore.]

[overdraws]

Then I've got your back. They give out these... boons, right? Next time, let's ask?

Pretty sure that won't cut it, Allison. Those things are for... well, for stuff here. I've already asked to go home and they basically gave me an F U.
