[Hey, look at that. A step in the right direction. He was learning not to open his posts to the side that he was supposed to be fighting. And killing, if her royal glowiness had anything to say about it. Color him not impressed.

But, he was mentally digressing, the locket held in his hand and panned around his brand new shiny wizard's room.


He made sure to get everything in his little scan, showing off what looked like a chemistry set over on the table there and that glowing ball thing that hw as kind of avoiding because scary and everything that was just too cool for school about this room.]

Isn't this great? They gave me a room, totally warded and everything so I don't have to worry about causing earthquakes or setting anyone on fire. Well, outside of it. I could probably still set myself on fire. I'm trying to avoid that. Look, it even has my name on the door.

[Cue him going over and opening the door to show the stylized plaque that was adhered to the door with his name on it.]

Still not entirely impressed with being kidnapped and not being able to go home and the whole trying to kill me stuff, but this... goes a tiny way to making it better. Just a little bit. Ooh, look at this.

[The locket panned back over to a coat rack, where he'd hung up the cloak he'd found when he'd come in at first. It was a dark, dark red that had shimmery silver highlights when he moved it.]

I got a cloak. They're trying to make me a pretty pimp wizard. Hey, hey Radagast. Would that make me Stiles the Red?

[Have a beaming teenager as he turns the pendant around so he can grin into it.]

Pretty sure that won't cut it, Allison. Those things are for... well, for stuff here. I've already asked to go home and they basically gave me an F U.

No argument here. Think we could pick up any tricks for screwing over a nogitsune?

We're in a castle full of tricksters. If we don't, we're seriously missing stuff.

I'm not sure I'm physically capable of doing what some of them do in terms of tricks. I also can't make sparkles come out of my ass or any other part of my body.

[ To be fair, this IS why she likes you, Stiles. ] Still... It wouldn't hurt to try to learn something, right? I mean this is fairy land, people come back from this place all the time with cool new powers and stuff. At least in the legends.

Yeah? The only ones I read about had them coming back and dying since like, hundreds of years had passed and they aged all at once.

[overdraws]

I think it depends on the kind of fairy? [ And then something hits her. She hesitates to point it out, but... ] Stiles, what if that's going to happen to you?

[He'd already thought about it, Allison. He shrugged, eyes not really meeting hers.]

Not much I can do about it, is there. I'm already here, right? Not like I can undo this.

[overdraws]

[ She still doesn't like it, if only because it means the same thing for Lydia. And Peter, too, but fuck that guy, maybe he'll stay dead this time if it happens. ] There has to be a way, Stiles. There's always a way.

[He shrugged.]

Like I said, that was just in some of the stories I read. Maybe this isn't like that. We don't really know, Allison. They're not really all that forthcoming on going home.

[overdraws]

[ She thinks for a moment. ] No, they aren't. Which makes me think there is a way to get back, and they just don't want us to know about it.

[teenyoda]

And you think figuring that out is going to make them tell us? No way, Allison. We're boned until they get bored of using us as cannon fodder.

No. I think figuring that out means we need to start looking on our own.

Not really sure there's just a door to open to send us back home, Al.
