 [When Elincia appears, she looks a little bit...frazzled. Definitely out of sorts. The circlet on her forehead is missing and her armor doesn't seem to be quite complete]

Ah...I don't suppose anyone has seen a couple of healing staffs lying around, have they? I found this--

[She lifts a giant axe (something big enough and heavy looking enough to look like it should cause Elincia some trouble but she handles the weight well, all things considered) up to the locket and looks a little bemused. She knows who the axe belongs to at least. All the more reason to get traveling soon]

---in their place. As nice as this axe is, I don't think I'm going to find much use out of it.


If anyone finds my staffs, I will be waiting in the stables for their return. 


[She can't run off to travel without her staffs after all.


People can find healing staffs all over Caer Glaem. In trees, random suits of armor and so on AND MAYBE IN YOUR THINGS thanks Kow.]

There's healing properties in the crystal of the staff. All you need to do is use your magic to draw it out and heal wounds.

Oh. Yeah, no, sure. Never seen a healing with the magic angle going for it before, so that sounds really great. And you're in the stables if I see one?

How does healing work in your world then, if I may ask?

Sure you can. [ He's easy as heck. ] So first, there's just the natural way, you know, waiting things out and putting on bandages and everything. But if you know someone or have the money for it, you can see a healer! They use waterbending to help fix you up. I think it's kind of a spiritual energy thing?

I heard about bending from someone named...Aang? It seems like a very interesting skill to have...

Aang was here? Avatar Aang? I cannot believe I missed that! [ Because Korra would have mentioned Aang being here in a present sense, obviously. Only the super cool world-saving Avatar who fathered some guy he knows wow. ] And yeah, I mean, bending's totally an interesting skill to have. Skills are usually pretty interesting all on their own!

They are. [That much she agrees with] But the way you describe people bending the elements sounds nothing like how the mages use the elements in their magic casting.

[She didn't know Aang was a name to cause so much excitement. She wonders where the boy had gone]

Do you bend air or water then?

Me? No way. I can bend earth! You know, cover everyone's... earth-related needs. Big rocks, emergency ramps, that kind of thing.

[Elincia tilts her head in consideration as she tries to imagine it. It all sounds very impressive either way]

--yyyeah, I guess that was kind of an underwhelming way to put it. Totally fair to think that! I manipulate earth! Which includes the big rocks. And dirt and maybe sand.

Sure, I'd love to! Might be easier in person, though. Is it okay if I head down to the stables? Oh, and I could look for staffs on the way!

Ah yes. I'll wait outside the stables, so we don't disturb the horses.

Not a problem, ma'am! Be pretty rude if I didn't try to help you out there. If you move before I get there, just give me a shout. [ He'll only take about ten minutes to show up on the near horizon, but sometimes a little time goes a long way like that. ]

[And true to her word, Elincia is waiting out by the stables, watching her cleg do a couple of loops in the sky.]

[ Bolin shows up with exactly one staff to his name, which he kind of had to finagle out of a statue's hands in a corridor. You know, good times for all involved. When he catches sight of her, he waves. ]

Hey! You're the staff lady, right? [ Good work Bo, maybe next time learn names. ]

['Staff lady', really Bolin? Really? Well, good thing Elincia isn't easily offended. She laughs]

Yes, I am. My name is Elincia.

[She definitely sees that staff in his hands and she's pretty relieved about it. She wasn't sure what she'd do if she had to go around with only one staff to her name]
