( The image that appears isn't that of the owner of the voice, but a sketchbook. In it, a sketch, of one of the areas of the inside of Caer Scima. One that Clary herself did. There are other drawings, but she's not about to divulge them just yet. For now... )

I've only ever seen archways close to this at the New York Institute... The architecture here doesn't match what I've seen of fairies' work before. They're underground, in their realm, and just about everything is made out of trees and leaves and flowers. This is... Completely different. I'm trying to draw pretty much anything and everything that I can. If I ever make it back... There are people who'd wanna know all of this. Anyway...

( The video shifts focus to a redheaded girl with bright green eyes, covered in freckles... And strange black markings, symbols, all over her skin. She smiles. )

Has anyone else ever had an experiences with fairies before coming here?

( Clary smiles right back, just as bright. Hey buddy, let's be sunshine at the same time. ) Yeah, I did. I've -- got others, but... I don't generally show off my art. This is relevant to everything, I think so...

( Her cheeks pink a little. ) Thanks.

[Oh no so cute. He nods at the thanks.] You don't even show your art to friends?

[Wait.] Not that I'm saying we're friends yet, but we could be! The point was, I show my friends my art.

[And the whole world but psh.]

( She shrugs slightly. ) Um -- not often. Once, my best friend got hold of my sketchbook and drew mustaches on the sketches of -- ... Someone he was jealous of at the time. ( That is the one piece of the movie I think could be remotely legit and I'm going to borrow it because I can. ) Besides... I don't really think it's all that good. And a lot of it is private.

( Clary would consider them friends, sort of. Acquaintances at least. ) I think we could. Be friends, I mean.

Oh. That wasn't very nice.

I think we could, too. I mean, I care about you. You tried to save me from the fairy magic!

He had his reasons, and I've forgiven him. It's not a big deal.

Really? ( Clary brightens right up. ) Has anyone ever told you that you're sweet?

[He smiles shyly.] Oh... well, you're pretty sweet, too.

[He looks down, a little shy, but he soon looks back up with a question on the tip of his tongue.]

I didn't know fairies were normal things back home. I mean, I'm pretty weird compared to other people myself, but.. I guess we've all had different experiences. Or something.

Oh, they're nowhere near normal. But they are a regular occurrence, at least. ( He's not wrong about that. Clary offers a slightly awkward smile. )

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was. But hey, someone might shock you into living with a fairy or something. Considering all of this [ he waves a vague hand around on-screen ] it wouldn't be too far-fetched.

Actually, yes. One of my friends is one. Magnus Bane ring any bells?

( She snorts. Of all the incredulous things. ) Fat chance. Maybe if they paid me, or traded their time for mine, like a promise to send me home sooner. Maybe. But even then. Fairies are bad news.

Ah, no, I've never heard of him. The ones I know, we're a close-knit group. We only know of each other - never went to see if there were any others out there. It makes sense, though. We couldn't be the only ones around.

[ Tyler smiles, a little sheepish. ] I'll take your word for it. I'm more surrounded by rebellious blonds, rather than fairies. Though yours, the fairies, are probably worse, all considered.

Warlocks are an entire race, where I'm from. Are you immortal? And do you, by chance, have any weird physical features? Magnus has like... Cat eyes.

( She can't help but laugh and she raises her eyebrows at him quizzically. )

I think I'm probably as rebellious as they come, within my group. Though, I know a few blondes who could fit that description, too. Most of my friends are brunette. And fairies are awful. Technically, they can't lie. But they never tell the whole truth, either.
